I did this on my first day. Mary was an excellent guide, full of information, very patient, lovely to deal with. I’m so happy that I did this on my first day because it gave me a terrific understanding of how magical a place San Miguel de Allende is.

This was perfect for our first day in SMA to get an overview of the city center and where we wanted to go back to spend more time. We cannot recommend Elisa Torres highly enough-she was really terrific as our guide!

Elisa gave a wonderful history of the town, insight to the foods, and retelling of how San Miguel became an artist community. She knows many people in tow, has lived there her whole life, and is proud and authentic about her home. It was a fantastic tour with lots of choices for food! She also helped us identify good makers from whom to purchase our souvenirs. Excellent experience!

Great tour with Omar. He’s a fascinating story teller. You will learn a lot through his stories. Not to mention the restaurants were great, too. Highly recommend this tour for a leisurely way to spend an afternoon in lovely San Miguel Allende.

Elis was a wonderful local tour guide. She showed us all parts of the markets including the daily shopping area and the artisans market. Lovely cafes, tamales, atole, tortas, fresh tortillas, popsicles, juice and coffee. Walked through a gorgeous mural area ending in the Aurora artist area. Highly recommend this tour to get the best market stall food and scope out great shopping. So pleasant to spend time with Elis!
