We had great difficulty with communication with the local provider. We gave him the address we had been given by the AirBNB and when we got to Costa Rica, we followed up by giving him a more specific address the day before the tour. We did this twice. They did not show up to the correct location and it took an hour to fix the problem and the owner was very nasty on the phone. He kept asking me to call back in five minutes. The tour was not at all what we were expecting. The roads were difficult and our daughter was car sick. We had to pay for things such as towels and lockers that were said to be included in the tour. The best part of the tour was the kindness of the driver. Beyond that, I would not do this and will not use Viator again after this dismal experience.

Thank you for your low review. Unfortunately your AirB&B was located very very far away from San Jose, our departure point. The problem was that you never provide a correct address and even you didn´t know where you were located. It was not our fall, it was yours fall or your AirB&B provider that didn´t send you the correct location. All our tours state departure from San Jose Hotels and your place was very far away, in a small rural neighborhood. Unfortunately besides all this, you didn´t know how to use whatsapp and even we ask you to send your location by whatsapp you didn´t know how to do it. A very simple task. If you got car sick it was because the location of your place, in the mountains and remote area. I was the person that spoke with your over the phone and it is not true I ask you to call every 5 minutes. Next time I better suggest you to spend a little bit more in a nice hotel and centrally located, not this kind of places with low reputation and in the middle of no where.
