Great guide with a lot of information provided. Tour is available in English if needed. Gaia took time to explain all of the steps and different types of grapes used. Food was absolutely fantastic also.

What an amazing experience! The grounds are beautiful, the wine was superb and the meal was delish. The only downside is it’s always away from the town so it’s a 2 ish mile walk one way. We were lucky to have a taxi back to town .

Enjoyed the tour by the sommelier - found her to be very knowledgeable. The tour of the vineyard and olive grove was a good length. Lunch was delicious with a good selection of wines for the tasting.

We loved this tour. The winery site is about a 30 minute walk outside the city walls. Once there you are greeted with great views of the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The tour is very informative on what makes Vernaccia di San Gimignano so special and on what Tenuta Guardastelle does to make their wines so appealing. They do not skimp on this lunch and each dish was delicious and represented the Tuscan way. A few people had some dietary restrictions but the kitchen handled the requests without any problems. After a morning of traveling this experience was great way to enjoy the area.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. We learned so much about the wine making process, sampled excellent wines and had an amazing lunch too. Fauzo (I believe was his name, husband and wife own it), was amazing telling the story of the winery and how it came to be, and taking us on a tour of the grape fields, the room where it’s processed etc. It is a beautiful place a kilometre from San Gimignano with amazing views!! Highly, highly recommend.

The couple that own and run this winery are the exemplars of small family businesses that advocate support their community. They welcome you into their home while providing education on wines and the the wine making process. The entire staff is charming and lovely. The food and wine are outstanding

Die Veranstaltung begann mit einer Führung durch die Weinberge und den Weinkeller. Unser Guide Raffaela hat mit Witz und Wissen viele interessante Hintergrundinfos zum Weingut und dessen Weine vermittelt. Nach ca. 1 Stunde Führung fand das eigentlich Tasting in einem klimatisierten Raum statt. Insgesamt wurden 2 Weisweine und 3 Rotweine verköstigt. Begleitet wurden die Weine von leckeren italienischen Speisen (Pappa al pomodoro, Aufschnitt (Salami, Käse), Bruschetta, Brot mit Olivenöl, Melone mit Prosciutto). Zum Nachtisch gab es ein Stück Kuchen sowie einen Dessertwein. Auf Nachfrage durften wir auch noch den Grappa probieren. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Im Anschluss haben wir im hauseigenen Shop einen der probierten Weine gekauft. Die Preise sind sehr fair (20-40€ pro Flasche).
Absolute Empfehlung und das Geld mehr als wert!

Es war schön, sauber und hat Spaß gemacht. Der Hund dürfte überrall mitkommen!! Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt und dazu haben wir 3 verschiedene Wein Sorten probiert. Das Wetter hat gepasst und wir konnten uns auf die schöne Terrasse hinsetzen, wo wir den schönen Ausblick genießen konnten!!
