Loved this experience! The food and wine were amazing. The staff (Matteo and Clara) were super nice and attentive. Very informative presentation. I booked this experience same day and there were no problems at all.

Romantic or not…Exceptional!!

Solo travelers: Don’t let the title fool you! The winery/restaurant was landscaped beautifully with twinkle lights, heart-shaped trimmed shrubbery and ambiance fit for Valentine’s Day, but this was much more than a romantic dinner. I went with my daughter because we enjoy wine tasting. While the food was very good (the truffle lasagna probably the best pasta I’ve had in Italy so far) it was the wine tasting experience that was exceptional. We tasted a total of 10 wines. The knowledgeable sommelier, Mira, explained each wine, the proper tasting technique, and then let us sample the wine with an entire platter of different foods, letting us each to determine if we thought the food and wine paired well. It was earth-shattering. It was revolutionary not to be told what the pairing should be, but rather let us decide for ourselves. In the end, we left with fully bellies, an appreciation for fine wine, and an understanding of what each of us value in a wine pairing. With a significant other, this would be a truly romantic evening, but please don’t let that word stop you from enjoying a fantastic evening of food, wine and experience.
