Our guide Steve was phenomenal! Our tour was enjoyable from beginning to end - Steve was so personable and knew so much about the area and shared it all with our group. He was an amazing storyteller and kept us all interested the entire time. I can't say enough good things about this tour!

This is a scam. I chatted and talked to Mila a week before our tour to make sure we would not be placed on a different tour and we would see everything listed. I asked the rude man who checked us in the same thing. I was assured we were on the right tour and would see everything. The sign he was holding was not the listed tour operator. We only saw 3 out of the 6 sites listed. What we saw was good but we were very disappointed we missed the other sites especially after being assured 3 times that we would follow the listed itinerary.
We were also disappointed that our tour guide gave very little informations about the 3 stops we did take and almost no history of Saint John. She talked more about what to eat, what she found in the beach, and other tours she has done.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few important points:
• It is not true that the bus tour only included 3 stops. All of our bus and van tours feature 5 to 7 scenic stops over 5 to 6 hours. It would be impossible to spend that amount of time on only 3 stops. Our standard itinerary covers Saint John highlights such as the Reversing Falls Rapids, Martello Tower, Fort Howe, plus 3 stops in St. Martins including the sea caves and covered bridges. At the end of the day, guests return to see the Reversing Falls again, bringing the total to 6–7 stops.
• On the same bus, there were over 30 other guests who completed the tour with no complaints about the stops or the guide.
• Your guide that day is a local expert born and raised in Saint John, with nearly 10 years of guiding experience, highly regarded for her knowledge of the history, culture, and natural beauty of the Bay of Fundy.
• On September 17th, because three cruise ships were in port and we were overbooked, we partnered with Hugo Tours, a trusted local operator. This is a common practice in Saint John during peak days, and the quality and itinerary remain the same.
• I was personally on-site to assist and tried calling you at least 10 times without answer, which made coordination more difficult.
• You also mentioned that the tour felt crowded. Please note that this was a bus tour, not a private tour. Bus tours naturally have more guests, particularly on busy cruise ship days.
We understand the experience may have felt different from your expectations, but the full itinerary was delivered as promised. Our company continues to receive many 5-star reviews, and the overwhelming majority of guests enjoy their complete tour experience with us.
We regret any confusion at check-in, but we assure you that our tours are not a scam. Our commitment has always been to provide memorable, informative, and enjoyable tours of Saint John and St. Martins.
Warm regards,
S-TOUR NB Team (Owner)

Beware!!! This operator is a scam. We booked and paid 160 per person for a 6 1/2 hour tour. They took our money for 11 adults and put us on a tour that cost 80 per person with a completely different operator. We were on a school bus painted black with no air conditioning. We stopped at 3 places, not even the itinerary that we booked. I tried messaging and calling the tour operator who we booked with throughout the day with no answer. Viator is investigating this incident. Hopefully viator will remove this scammer from their platform and refund my money because this is unacceptable. I just hope this doesn't happen to others.

Hello Melissa,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I appreciate the opportunity to clarify and assure all future guests that our tours are fully legitimate and professionally managed.
Let me address each of your concerns point by point:
1. "This operator is a scam."
This claim is false. We are a licensed and locally operated tour company, and we process bookings securely through reputable platforms like Viator and TripAdvisor. Our customers always receive the tour they pay for—no exceptions.
2. "We paid $160 but were on a $80 tour with a different operator."
Pricing on Viator may vary due to timing, offers, or group size. Each guest pays the amount shown at the time of booking. We do not force pricing changes or blame differences on guests; what you see is what you pay.
3. "We rode on a black school bus with no air conditioning."
We use locally chartered vehicles that vary depending on group size. While most buses are air-conditioned, occasionally a vehicle may be less ideal. However, all vehicles used are safe, licensed, and handled by professional drivers.
4. "We only stopped at three places, not the full itinerary."
Our Bus Tour always comprises 6–8 stops, including Reversing Falls, Uptown Saint John, City Market, Fort Howe, Carleton Martello Tower, St. Martins’ covered bridges and sea caves, plus photo stops. It’s possible some stops were overlooked during your experience, but rest assured, the full itinerary was delivered as advertised.
5. "You did not respond to our calls/messages."
On busy cruise days, staff are fully engaged with guest check-in and guiding. This can sometimes delay immediate phone responses. Nonetheless, our guides are present in person, ready to assist any guest needing help.
6. "Viator is investigating; this operator should be removed."
We welcome transparency. Viator’s records confirm that your group was placed on the correct tour, with the full itinerary fulfilled. Our outstanding standing on Viator and TripAdvisor speaks to our commitment to quality service.
To all prospective guests:
We stand by our reputation as a transparent, trustworthy, and customer-focused company. We go the extra mile to deliver memorable experiences exploring Saint John and the Bay of Fundy. Thank you for trusting us—we hope to welcome you soon!
Warm regards,
Haidery
