Loved this tour! Pete was very knowledgeable and truly seemed to enjoy sharing his love for his home town. We really felt like we learned so much about this beautiful town and so glad we were able to see it through Pete's eyes. Highly recommend!

Pete is very well versed. He made the tour interesting and fun. We started and ended on time. He planned the tour so there is no uphill walking.

Excellent walking tour with Pete. He is a Saint John local who knows the history as well as the current city. He is funny and has an engaging personality. The tour route maneuvered around the hills so it was fairly flat.

The walk is gentle with stops to sit down and this senior had no issues . The guide Pete is a delightful character

Great walk thru uptown with history. Saw the city market, mall, library, Marco Polo model, several parks and he gave lunch recommendations. Sandwiches at Jeremiah's were spot on.

2 hours of walking. Wear comfortable footwear and clothing. Walk goes through the Market. I would have loved to spend more time there, but we were on a schedule.

Thank you for your review. We do sit down and relax at one point in the tour, but there is a lot to see. Time spent in the market depends on people's schedules, there is an option to return there,if possible. Also, there are no uphills on my tour.

Pete was a walking encyclopedia of information about Saint John. His tour gave us all the background on history all the way up to current city leaders. He led our small group through the heart of town, pointing out highlights and everyone in Saint John seemed to know him! Highly recommended!

Be ready to walk a fair bit however Pete has thoughtfully removed any hill climbs. Get ready to laugh a lot as well - Pete is passionate and proud of his town and had plenty of memorable stories to share.

This was a really good historical tour. Pete is very knowledgeable and kept it interesting. He also took a path around the port area that kept us from going up steep steps or hills.

Thanking you. We do avoid hills, the comfort of my clients is number one. I do also attempt to adjust tour materials, according to everyone's interests.
Highly recommend this tour. Pete was knowledgeable, friendly, spoke loud enough for all of our group to hear, made sure everyone was with the group when he spoke. Knows the city and history really well. And he made sure we did not have to climb any steep streets, an unexpected bonus.

Pete was very knowledgeable but I think the best was how kiind he was to all and how he was aware of everyone’s needs. It was a diverse group with varied capabilities and he accommodated them all and made us feel comfortable. The weather was crazy and he made sure we were comfortable- moving us inside at one point but back out then when we could! Thank you again!!

Pete is an absolute wealth of knowledge! I think about 10 locals stopped to say hi during the tour, he is truly part of the fabric of Saint John. The weather turned rather wet toward the end of the tour and Pete went above and beyond for our small group. Highly recommend if you’d like to deep dive into the history of the city.

Pete is a marvellous ambassador for St John! Our walking tour both informed and entertained. In the space of a couple of hours Pete pointed out many of St John’s landmarks, while regaling us with stories of the city’s history and its people. Pete’s knowledge of his city was, to my mind, staggering. Names and dates were at his fingertips. He fielded questions in a thorough, affable manner. His passion for St John really shines through!

Pete is an excellent guide. He has a great presentation and is very knowledgeable about Saint John history as well as current local and provincial events and happenings. The tour covered a lot of territory but at a very comfortable pace. He has great recommendations for restaurants and other points of interest/attactions. If you are looking for a tour to introduce you to Saint John I highly recommend taking this tour.
