Great couple of hours in Riga Old Town. Guide shared interesting information and tour was great despite the cold! The only detail is that the guide asked for a tip at the end. For a couple of hours after a payed tour, this really did not feel ok.

Oh, sorry! There has been some misunderstanding. There are some people on tour that pay at the end of it (they have not prepayed) and they tip to the guides. Not the ones that have pre-payed. No worries, tipping is always optional.

Walking, stopping, listening to guide explain points of interest. Excellent guide who also informed us of Latvia’s current state with its support of Ukraine and the Russian population in Latvia. Very interesting and that alone was worth price of tour.

Very disappointing. 10 minutes before our tour was meant to start we were informed that our guide had cancelled. Even though we were given an automatic full refund it was too late to book another walking tour. We were with no choice but to walk around aimlessly by ourselves.

It was a good tour. Be sure to get to the meeting point early because they leave on time. The biggest negative is that it was a large group. The guide was very informative. Worth the time.

Hello! Thank you for the review. A comment about the group size - we keep them to 25 people maximum. Larger groups do happen only now and then in August (peak tourism month, when there is limited guide availability).

This was the perfect introduction to Riga which you should take on your first day here. Good combination of history of Riga and explanation of key sites that you can then revisit at your leisure. Learnt so much more than if we had explored in our own. Our guide Gouna was the best! Highly recommend.
