Excellent tour of all locations with a good guide

This was an excellent tour in a mini-van. We had a small group of 8 which worked well throughout the tour. The tour guide and driver, Tom, was excellent and demonstrated good knowledge of the history and background of all three locations we visited. We had plenty of time at each location to explore and photograph. The tour took the whole day but this was necessary to see all that we wanted to and needed to see. Good value for money.

It is a very pleasant trip from Riga to Vilnius accompanied by a enlightening guide, Martins. A day of traveling through the beautiful countryside stopping by Basuka castle, Rundale place museum in Latvia & Hill of crosses in Lithuania, a relaxing time of chatting and tasting Lithuanian traditional food, “Cold beetroot soup with hot potatoes and Zeppelins” at “FORREST” restaurant located in Lithuania just after crossing the border of Latvia and Lithuania. It is a time to see and learn about history of Latvia and Lithuania. It is a valuable journey. We are very appreciative.

Great way to see some spectacular sights in Latvia.

We had an incredible tour with Jimmy! He was engaging, considerate, and took us to some truly amazing spots. Each stop on the tour was beautiful and different in its own way. It is truly a rewarding way to see part of Latvia outside of Riga. We thoroughly enjoyed it!! To top it off, when my mother asked if he knew what insect might have given her a bite the evening before (she had an unusual bite or reaction), Jimmy went out of his way to check with his family for a local remedy. He genuinely cares about his guests and goes above and beyond—highly recommended!

Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Riga who wants to learn about Latvian food! Our guide was so nice and explained not only the significance of the foods we were trying, but she also pointed out other foods and explained how Latvians cooked with them and which foods they ate in which seasons.

The tour is a fantastic way to visit three sites and not have to worry about how to get from one place to the next. The guide/driver Krista provided excellent information so that I could thoroughly enjoy the visits. In addition she was welcoming and a lovely person to be with. It was a long but satisfying day.

We absolutely loved our walking tour in Riga! Our guide made the Old Town feel magical, full of stories, charm, and little hidden details we never would have discovered on our own. From the beautiful Town Hall Square to the stunning churches and cozy streets, every stop felt special because of the way she brought the history to life. We especially loved hearing the unbelievable story about St. Peter’s Church and learning why the flowers in Livu Square are always blue — those little details made the tour feel so personal and memorable. And of course, the adorable Cat House was one of our favorite moments! Finding the famous cat and hearing the funny story behind it made us smile the entire day. It’s those charming touches that made this tour stand out so much. Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about Riga. She also gave wonderful local tips at the end of the tour that made the rest of our stay even better. Thank you for such a lovely experience and for making us fall in love with Riga. We will remember this tour very fondly!

Had a fantastic day on this tour. Norman was a brilliant guide and ensured the day ran at a perfect speed with no rushing. He recommended a beautiful restaurant for lunch to try the local Lithuanian cuisine which was lovely.
