The tourguide was very friendly, informed and we enjoyed a lovely chat. He knows the history, buildings and landmarks. I am so glad I did the tour. The sun was out, and it was most enjoyable. Definitely a MUST DO in Riga.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. You get to see many great tourist sights. The boat is comfortable and keeps you dry if it is raining.

Both trip is a must, however boat used wasn’t appropriate for sightseeing, you should be able to see scenery from front but in this boat used instead of seeing scenery you would see other visitor in front of you and your back was to scenery.

It was very nice boat ride. The first 15 minutes of the canel was the most picturesque so make sure to take a lot of photos! I hour was just perfect.

It was a nice way to spend an hour. An automated tour tape was played the entire time. So there was no interaction or input from the boat captain. That would have made it better.

On time start, relaxed boat trip with small group, the captain was very informative and gave us additional information about history of Riga, and animal life while there was a nice English commentary going on. I recommend this trip.

The boat is just okay, a good experience maybe for family or if the weather is extra nice—but not very comfortable or particularly interesting. I think maybe other tours on the canal are nicer.

Our one-hour boat ride was very enjoyable. The location was easy to find with good signage, and the person who took our information was fun to talk with. We selected this tour because it is a smaller group and the boat is open. The narration was useful and the ride was great! We recommend this tour.

There were several things that were not good at this trip.
The seats had very little leg space so even short persons had hard to sit comfortably.
The English spoken guidance voice in the loudspeakers were at a too low volume, it was very hard to hear what was said.
People around us were listening to the guidance in other languages WITHOUT headphones. It was very annoying.
But at least the trip itself was beautiful.

Relaxing! Calm! Beautiful views of Riga from a different vantage point. Loved seeing the cities skyline. This is a must do!! Give your feet a rest, and still explore and discover Riga!

I choose an English speaking tour.
However there was a a Russian translator with 3 of her clients speaking loudly throughout which disturbed the environmrntv

Great inexpensive way to see a part of the city less traveled. Tour guide (skipper) answered all the questions we had and the prerecorded audio tor was interesting. Boat was clean and safe. Great tour!

The boat ride itself was good, but it was difficult to find the departure dock as there are other companies along the canal. It turned out the place was away from the main tourist spots and the other companies are not willing to help you to find it.
