This was an excellent tour! Cristian was a very knowledgeable guide and shared great information during both the drive and nature walk. The hot springs were very lovely. I definitely recommend visits the spa side of the facilities and booking a treatment. The whole vibe is very relaxing and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mountains.

The pools were fantastive. Well worth spending time there. Our guide was wonderful. Adapted to our knowledge and experiences we had already in/on Ecuador. We learning any new things that added to our experience in Ecuador and learning of its people.

Relaxing Day with a Wonderful Guide!

Papallacta was a wonderful experience! We really enjoyed our day trip from Quito to the mountains. We opted for the spa area which costs an additional $25 per person, but it was worth it. The hot springs were relaxing in a beautiful jungle setting. We ate lunch at the on-site restaurant, and the food was exceptional. We also splurged on massages to round out our day, and the massage therapists did an amazing job. Every part of the day was perfect. Our guide for the day was Rodney, who I highly recommend! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, nature, and Ecuador in general. He was able to answer every question we had and he seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. He made a point to stop the car multiple times during the journey to let us capture photos of beautiful scenery, including Antisana volcano. He was one of the best guides we had during our 11 days in Ecuador!

Relaxing day

The private trip included transportation to and from our hotel to the spa. It was worth the cost because we had to be picked up at one hotel, taken back to pick up laundry and then taken to our next hotel. If it had been hotel to hotel I would have thought it was $$$.

Love relaxing day out of Quito

Super friendly guide and driver. Guide gave us lots of information on Ecuador and answered all our questions. Tailored the trip to meet our needs as we were getting over jet lag. Hot springs are well equipped for changing, showers etc and spotlessly clean.

Great Value and Guide

The day trip to Papallacta was fantastic. The van was extremely comfortable and clean. Our guide took us on a wonderful hike on the property and pointed out all kinds of fauna, flora, and wildlife. Although only about a 45 minute hike, it was one of our favorite of our entire trip. The hot springs are fantastic and relaxing, and the restaurants on the property had top notch service and food. This tour is priced very well and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stress free way to the hot springs.

Best place for natural beauty & relaxation

Fabulous day with perfect weather. We stopped to take pictures of the Volcano that is normally in the clouds. Our guide took us on a nice short hike on arrival at Thermas Papallacta. We checked in and scheduled a spa treatment for later in the afternoon, had a delicious lunch. Tried all the thermal pools and ended the day with a massage. Our very knowledgeable and informative guide gave us great info on the dude up and back. We loved it so much we went back and stayed overnight and ended the pools and beautiful grounds. Best place ever don’t miss it!

Best Thermal Pools at the Spa

Relaxing in Ecuador

Our driver Danilo was prompt to meet us at our hotel and communication with the company was very good. He was a safe driver and had all sorts of good information and knowledge as we chatted along the drive. The scenery during the drive was beautiful. He stopped for breaks as needed. The resort seemed very nice as were the thermal pools. I enjoyed a very well done, relaxing and inexpensive spa treatment as well while my husband hiked again along the nature trails. Nothing can beat sitting in a thermal pool with greenery and beautiful volcano scenery all around us. It was a memorable experience during our short visit to Ecuador. Highly recommended!!!

Great day at Papallactas but skip the guide

Not sure if a tour guide is needed😐. We would have been fine with just the transfer back and forth and save a lot of money. Termas was great - nice lunch, very hot thermal pools with great vistas surrounding, and pretty good massage (don’t expect a super deep massage).
