Tour was rushed. Our guide left before we got to the beach stating he had another appointment. We were told parking was included but when we got to the office they said they were full and we had to pay for parking. Overall the tour was decent.

What can we say. Booked a tour for 8am and were under weather. Robert called back and said we could do 12pm if we felt better. We rescheduled and happy we did. Robert was professional, knowledgeable, fun, and energetic. How he found the creatures he found, amazingly fun! We saw everything we had expected monkeys, sloth, lizards, bats, and more super fun. We would highly recommend this tour.

The National Park was extremely busy even though we went early in the morning as advised. Compared to the other National Parks that we went to, there were far too many people on guided tours. We didn’t see much wildlife although the guide was doing his best to fill out the two hour slot. The toilet/shower facilities were not good and the beaches in the park were packed. I’m glad we went but we wouldn’t go back.

Roberto is a very knowledgeable & personable guide. He was very flexible to help us with a ride for the tour. We say a lot of wildlife and learned a lot. There are many rules to get into the park and he made it very easy to get quickly in.

Our tour with Wilbur from Birding and travel was AMAZING!! He was so knowledgeable, patient and helpful to our group! We saw so many animals and plants and he helped us take pictures through his scope that were professional quality.

We took this tour with a guide named Robert and we are so glad we did! We would have missed tons of.creatures that you cant see with the naked eye. We saw a lot of beautiful animals! That beach through….. pure beauty!!! Park is very clean! I would definitely recommend!!

Robert was very knowledgeable and strangely able to see things no one else seemed to be a ware of. Very good communicator. He's the epitome of a small CR businessman building a strong tourism business. I strongly recommend this tour. There is parking at his office. Support small business!

Robert is an absolutely incredible guide! He spotted so much that we would have completely missed otherwise. Manuel Antonio gets very busy and crowded, but Robert was able to show us so much, and also took photos for us through his scope! We are so grateful he had his scope, as it’s really the only ethical way to see the fauna in the area. Even once our tour had finished, as we were walking back from the beach we saw more animals and birds and he continued letting us use his scope and explain to us what we were seeing! We were thrilled with the tour and highly recommend!

To preserve nature, no plastic (disposable type) water bottles are allowed in the park. Also, my granola bars could not go in, probably because of the wrapper. This being said, there was no trash scattered about.

Everything you see is not with the nakedness eye but through a binoculars. That is not what we were expecting.

Our guide, Steven, was top notch.He was very friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the flora and fauna.The group was very small and we walked at a slow pace so that we could look at everything.I would have missed 90 percent of the wildlife viewing if it was not for Steven.This is an experience that we will never forget thanks to him and his kind soul.

My wife and I took the tour with Robert. We appreciated how passionate he was about the park and the animals. It was also very impressive how well he could spot animals. He was spotting frogs from 100+ feet away. We saw monkeys up close, several sloths, agoutis, frogs, snakes, some birds and butterflies. We really enjoyed the tour.

We booked our tour last minute on the morning of the tour due to arriving the previous evening, and we only had one full day to spend in Manuel Antonio.
We were booked on last minute and given the last spaces, the guides went out of their way to help us when we arrived. Our guide was Roger, and although the tour we joined was a Spanish one (which we agreed to due to the last min booking), he made sure he also explained everything in English too.
Roger was so knowledgable, and made sure that we saw as much as possible on the day.
Highly recommend, if I could give more than 5 stars then I would!

Tho it was a warm sticky day, our guide was great and saw lots of animals including a great view of a big sloth climbing up a tree.
We swam at the beach at the end for a perfect cool down!

Having a more personalized and private tour at Manuel Antonio was great. Our guide Luis was wonderful and learned a lot from him about the wildlife and landscape at Manuel Antonio. The tour didn’t feel rushed and it felt very good personalized. We enjoyed our time at Manuel Antonio and definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting the park!

Manuel Antonio NP - have been several times before and had been reading recently that it was super busy but we had an excellent guide, Andrew, and we kept away from larger groups where possible. At the end of the day it comes down to how good your guide is and the size of group. 3-6 is ideal. Don't go larger. Thanks to Andrew we had a great morning spotting wildlife.

Robert, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the Park's ecosystem as well as skilled at finding wildlife that we would never had seen on our own. He took great photos for us through his high powered Optik device. Robert was prompt, friendly, and a great guide. We really enjoyed this excursion.

Excellent tour in Manuel Antonio. Our guide, Rafael brought humor, enthusiasm, and was very knowledgeable with plants and animals. He was really good at spotting animals from so far away. Genuinely made our tour feel special and intimate, would highly recommend booking with Rafael as your guide!

First, Robert, was very communicative prior to the tour with detailed information on tour expectations, requirements, obtaining our tickets and traversing the many distracting "hawkers" to arrive at their office which included free parking. The office is about 100 meters from the park gate.
Secondly, Wilbur, our guide, was awesome. He whisked us right through the gate with ease. He was able to spot the wildlife that we would have never seen. He was very knowledgeable of the flora and fauna. He was able tell us about each animal we saw, their habits and diets. He is a trained botanist and knew everything about the plants. He was a able to take pics and videos through the spotting scope with our cameras which was a great addition to all the pics we took ourselves. At the end of the tour, he dropped us at one of beautiful beaches in the park to enjoy time on our on.
We relaxed and swam at the beach and then my wife and I hiked the trail around punta catedral where we saw beautiful vistas and were able to get extremely close the a troop of capuchin monkeys.
After we exited the park, we stopped at Buru Garden Restaurant which Wilbur recommended. We at first suspected that he recommended it because they share a parking lot but we decided to give it try and it was terrific. Great seafood and two for one drinks were just what we needed after a warm day in the park.
I would highly recommend this tour company for your visit to Manuel Antonio national park.
