It was a lot of fun. 2 thumbs up from my teenagers and husband! Pedro helped us get a parking spot and made recommendations of where to buy snacks. Surfing guides were patient and kind. Logan, a photographer from CA (not affiliated with Viator) took pictures and airdropped them all for a small sum- way better than the pictures I took.

Surfing Lessons for anyone! The Best!

My instructor, Luis, was very knowledgable and patient with me. This was my first time surfing and his instruction and guidance were so helpful that I was able to stand on the board several times. I highly recommend anyone take this class as the instruction was specific and allowed me to quickly advance.

Amazing experience. This was for my daughters birthday and she had the best time. Pablo and his team are so welcoming and great with kids. Y daughter was afraid and in no time because o Pablo’s guidance she was riding the waves and enjoying herself. He also madeaccomodations for us to watch and enjoy the beah while the lesson was happening. If in Costa Rica I recomend 100% Pablo.

We booked this pretty last minute, just an hour before 2, Pablo texted me back soon after to let us know he’d come pick us up. it was a great last minute decision! Taught by a local who is such a nice guy, lots of great tips for surfing and staying safe, very patient teacher too. I’ll be looking forward to surfing again soon here, and back at the Oregon coast I call home. He also gave us some great recommendations for where to eat and good spots for surfing on the pacific coast of Costa Rica. Take these lessons! You won’t regret it!

Alright people, stop what you’re doing, adjust your plans, and schedule a surfing lesson with Pablo and his team in Manuel Antonio. Our little mid-western family (my husband, two kids (10 & 15) and myself) had never surfed before and were somewhat intimidated to learn. But we were in Costa Rica- ¡pure vida! Pablo is a local guy who you’ll want to hang out with your entire trip. He’s incredibly informative and safe when it comes to the lesson itself, and in the end just wants everyone to feel successful, supported and having a great time. This was definitely true for my family as we all said it was the best day of our vacation (and it was raining!) Take a lesson, learn about Manuel Antonio and Costa Rica from a sincere guy who knows and loves the area.
