We came to NZ on our honeymoon and the wine hopping tour was what my wife was most excited for. Claire was amazing, personalized our tour, and checked in on us multiple times throughout to make sure we were having a great time. She arranged a luncheon at Kinross separate from the rest of the tour and that was an incredible experience. My wife never wants to leave Queenstown.

Hopper bus is a great opportunity for me and my partner both enjoy drinking with a very knowledgable guide, T. He would provide recommendations to the winery we visited and it’s very convenient to communicate on WhatsApp. At the end of the tour, we got off on Arrowtown for our dinner as well!
This is my first hopper bus experience and it is fabulous!

Flexible to go to which ever winery you want. Andrew our driver came to find us when it was time to go to our next destination. Got dropped off at Ayrburn for the last stop as we had dinner booked.

It was a great tour - we had input on where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. Claire was a great driver and guide! Would highly recommend this option to go to the wineries around Queenstown!

Angus was our guide for the day and we were impressed by his knowledge and passion for wine, and for music as well! We had no plans and he ensured that we visited the most famous and awarded wineries in the area. We had a great day and we would definitely recommend it. The area is beautiful and we would love to come back in the future.

Kiki went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day out in Gibbston Valley. She made sure we hit a few key locations we had been itching to try, but also gave a few great recommendations we wouldn't have known about without her guidance. Her van was a comfortable and safe ride and I would highly recommend anyone wanting to experience wine country use Wine Hopper. Wonderful day!

Would recommend it over any other tour in the valley. The freedom to go anywhere, plus wonderful suggestions from our tour guide Kiersten, plus a bonus waterfall hike in the rain just for funsies, made this an amazing experience that every wine drinker visiting Queenstown should try. 10/10

Enjoyed tasting at several Otago wineries. Our tour guide/driver (Andrew) was very friendly and helpful. He ensured we got into a tasting that was on our list. Very fun time!

Andrew was amazing. We rocked up with no real plans. We had had to ditch the bike tour due to weather and were a little unprepared for a hop on/off tour. Andrew offered some options, dropped us at our first winery and booked us into some amazing spots for the rest of the tour. Communication was great and even rain and snow didn't dampen the day. So much fun, met some fantastic people along the way. Will definitely do again!

We booked this tour at the last minute and very glad we did. Andrew was very knowledgeable about the area and the different wineries and we followed his suggestions on where to go. It was a fun afternoon with a few purchases to keep us going during the rest of our travels in NZ!

We had an amazing time on our Tour!! Our driver, T was a great knowledgeable guide and made the day a great experience and our favorite activity of our vacation. Would highly recommend booking this ! We booked lunch at Gibbston and also the Cave Tour which was a cool activity! We also liked Ayrburn, a winery still in development but already looks amazing and I’m sure it will only get better!

We had such a fun day on this tour! Our guide Angus was fantastic and took us to all of the best wineries around. Lunch at the Church was amazing and a must-do. Drank way too much and bought way too many bottles so all in all a very successful day that I would recommend to anyone going to Queenstown!

Perfect day with a great guide. As it turned out, my wife and I were the only ones on this small group tour so it became a “private tour”. Andrew gave us the freedom to choose wineries to visit but being first time visitors, we left it up to him to pllan our day; between hosted and sit down/more relaxing tastings. On the way to Otago, he talked a llittle bit about Queenstown and explained the history of wine making and how it all started here. We visited Gibbston Valley (where it all started), Kinross and Mt Rosa. We did tastings at our own pace, especially at Mt. Rosa and never felt pressured. He gave us an option to go to another winery or brewery, but going to the three was enough. He gave us the option to spend time and walk around in Arrowtown, which was great. We had Andrew join us for ice cream at Patagonia then he offered to drop us off at Hilton on the way back to Queenstown. We highly recommend this tour and would to it again when we visit next time.

Wow! We wish every wine tour was like this one. Andrew was so excellent. We showed up to the the meeting point with no plans, and Andrew quickly crafted a plan for us. He shuttled everyone around to their different spots (some others had tastings and lunch reservations). We felt like we were on a private tour the whole time, never felt rushed and we had the best wine out of the 3 different tasting days that we did on our trip to NZ!

Such a fun day!! The tour guide/driver (Angus) was so enthusiastic and helped us plan a great day! He taught us a lot about the area and New Zealand in general. We enjoyed our time on the wine hopper bus and would recommend this trip!

Had the most amazing day at our wine tour. Our tour guide T was the best. He gave us all the best recommendations and spoke between the wineries for us to best organise our trip. We had a lot of fun along the way and T was great with communicating transport along the way. Would recommend 100%
