The central Queenstown pickup location is the Marmolada Cafe on Camp Street. We pick up from a range of different accommodations and bus stops. If we do not pick up directly at your hotel, we will advise the closest pick-up location. After you book you will receive a message from our team to reconfirm your pick-up location and time. Please be at your pick-up location 10 minutes prior to the departure time provided. Your guides will wait up to 5 minutes after the time, and those that are late and miss their departure will not be entitled to a refund.

This was a great experience! All the wineries were amazing with tastings at each. Everyone was so knowledgeable and the wineries were beautiful! It was also really nice to not have to worry about driving the winding roads and enjoy the beautiful scenery! Our guide, Nicole, was so sweet and helpful with giving us tips about the area, offering to take photos and even speaking with the wineries to accommodate preferences (my mom only drinks white wine). Would definitely book again and highly recommend!

The first winery experience is not very good and should be replaced with a better winery. The final winery is set-guided. Would be better to have another guided tasting.

The wineries were very nice. All of the wines were good. Their staffs were polite and enthusiastic. We had lunch at one of the wineries which was very good food. We met a good small group on our tour which made it more fun.

Wonderful experience enjoying Queenstown area wineries. Chase was a great tour leader and everyone had a great time tasting NZ wines. The Mercedes Benz van was most comfortable and the day ended with a nice gift. First class wine tasting experience!

Visiting the different wineries and seeing their differences was fun. Loved tasting all the different wines and finding out the favorites. I must admit there were a lot of samples! Lunch was delicious in between. It was an enjoyable day.

Our tour was a highlight of Queenstown. We were picked up promptly by Lee of Altitude travel. She made an effort to make everyone comfortable and created a warm atmosphere. The selection of wineries was excellent and we learned a lot about the region.

Wonderful wine tasting experience. Our tour guide Nicole was super friendly with lots of fun and factual information. Our tour was changed last minute as one of the wineries was not available due to a function however the substitute winery was absolutely beautiful. All 4 wineries were individual and special. Pizza lunch at the Gibbston Valley Winery was delicious. The road trip was very scenic and made fun by Nicole who also obliged our group by, at the end of the tour, dropping us at a destination that we were interested in seeing.

Every trip to New Zealand should include some wine tasting and this was a great way to do it. Very short ride to the wineries and only minutes from one stop to the next. Each one had something different to offer. Heidi, our guide, was the best! With her knowledge of the area and great music selection she made the whole trip fun!

Allegra was an amiable, knowledgeable, informative and positive host who drove us very competently to four winery destinations. The second venue provided a tasty lunch. We found the first two wine tasting stops very appealing along with the forth experience which offered a delightful garden to enjoy.

We enjoyed getting to taste all the different wines with some of the history behind the vineyards. Our tour guide driver Do was super friendly and made the trip really fun! We enjoyed her sing along on the way back to town. the only thing we would have liked to have more of was a tour of the vineyards or at least a little bit to see the views and the actual crops but all in all we were very happy with our tour.

Our driver for the day was Beth and she was very good at informing us of the day and how it works and also providing us with a little bit of history of the area and New Zealand. You get about 3-4 tastings at each winery with a mix of white and red. I liked that we had the option to stop for lunch (at your expense) but I wish we had more time to eat because by the time the food arrived we only had about 15 minutes before we had to leave for the next winery. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and most importantly, I enjoyed the wine!

Driver Leonie was friendly, caring and professional. Tour was timely, group of people we travelled with were from America, Australia and Germany and they were all so lovely and we had the best time together. The wineries we visited were great. The food was lovely too. Couldn’t fault the whole experience. Highly recommend.

What an amazing day! Visits 4 great vinyards. A sample of Central Otagos finest. Our guide/sober driver, Beth, was superb and so knowledgeable of the area. We learnt so much, about the history of wine, local famous wine makers and Queesntown and surrounds. A must do tour for any tourist/wine lover.

I’ve done several wine tours and Altitude’s Wine Tour is definitely the best. It’s a really full day of tasting incredible wines from really high quality wineries. The wine experts who guided us were really top notch and informative. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed and friendly. I was really impressed! This wine tour is honestly the best wine tour myself and my family have ever done. We had the phenomenal Lee as our tour guide, and she went above and beyond to create an incredible experience for everyone involved. Her care to detail and incredible vibes made the day a breeze and so much fun! (The wineries were also amazing!) If you are looking for a wine tour to do with friends or family, I cannot recommend this enough - especially if you’re lucky enough to get Lee as your guide! We will 100% be booking again!

This is a must. Our driver had personality plus and made the start of the trip. He opened up the conversation for the entire van to get the group conversation going. Once the ice was broken and no wine had been consumed everyone opened up and the fun began
