The guides Gabriel 1 & 2 were very friendly and made the experience even that more memorable. W were able to visit a primary school the children were so sweet. Making cigars, seeing how cocoa and coffee are made and had to opportunity to see an authentic Dominican country house it was beautiful. There were more we experienced on this trip I would recommend this trip well worth it with all the sites seen and the lovely guides

We got cancelled on by this company the night before our tour. They did offer to reschedule but we were leaving the island to go home so we couldn't do it another day. I don't blame them for acts of nature but I do blame them for not issuing a refund. Now I have to go thru all the crap with my credit card company just to get my money back. I don't find that worthy of a great review

Not at all what the description says. They crammed us into a van instead of the open air bus like pictured. The coffee and cocoa demonstration lasted a total of 3 minutes and did not even offer tasting of coffee. Most of the stops seemed to only be for gift shops. The market he led us through was just a walk through which included alive and dead chickens where everyone was gagging from the smell. The guide did not talk about the culture during the trip and instead slept the whole was back. I wish I could get my money back for this waste of time.

At first I was concerned that we were riding in a closed in van. I was looking and dress for a vehicle with no air and able to see views. The tour was like a vip tour after all. The tour guide was on point.

Guide was speaking only broken German, not all was explained fully in German.
No Safari bus like in the description, only a closed minibus.
Everything super fast, no real time to enjoy.
Market: one short stop, no time to look around or to buy something.
No Macao beach like in the description
Plantage really poor.
5 minutes stop at a public school; this was not part of the description
Wouldn’t book or recommend this.

Great tour guide and we were lucky to be part of a small group of just 6 people including us. Nice stops and try-out options and overall coop experience. Would definitely recommend doing the tour.

This tour was interesting and it was eye opening to see how the people of Punta Cana live. Our tour guide was not very fluent in English and I think the tour would have been much better if he could have been able to better answer our questions and would have been talking to us throughout the driving part of the tour

The excursion is mostly to visit village farm, small tobacco factory and local market. Interesting to see it and it’s very fast 5 hours — we didn’t lose too much time and we didn’t eat out of the hotel which is what we were searching for. It’s 2 times cheaper than the same that offered in the hotel. Everything was perfect! Recommend!

We had a tour guide (I forgot his name) and Bronly the driver, they both made the trip memorable. Bronly and the tour guide was attentive and shared an extensive knowledge of the culture, and kept us abreast of what to expect throughout the trip. I would definitely recommend doing this trip and experiencing both gentlemen. My kids enjoyed it!!! 10/10 experience

We had a great time on the 1/2 day safari. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable! We enjoyed seeing a true Dominican home. It was nice to learn how coffee and chocolate are processed. We didn’t care for the market or gift shop but made the best of it!

Great time, locat experience and felt less like we were being corraled on a field trip than others. The local lunch and market walk was great. Just be sure to ask your operator what the times are and the pickup point.

Visit to the tabac factory, interacting with the locals, viewing the countryside. Our tour guide was amazing (osvaldo). We stopped for empanadas and cuba libres along the way.
Just a note: remember haggling is not considered rude at the souvenir shop. The price drops in half :)

The tour advertised was not what we received. We were obviously attached to an existing to tour. A tour that included horseback riding and a cigar factory, neither of which we wanted. This added an additional two hours to our excursion (mostly waiting for our tour mates -- AND a previous tour -- to complete their horse rides).
The tour of the Basilica and the market were good, but would have been much more worthwhile if our guide had ANY information to offer.
We were whisked away from the rest of the group to attend the plantation tour. It was well done by the hostess, but this was actually a tour of a garden not a plantation.
The meagre ability for any of the guides to speak English or offer information was disappointing.
We were lost, or waiting, or rushed during much of our tour.

Our tour guides were Angel & Junior and they were great. They picked us up on time and it ended up being a private tour.
Our first stop was at a local cigar shop. The vanilla cigars were great and they gave me an opportunity to roll one myself.
The second stop was a primary school where got an opportunity to see what was being taught.
The third stop was to a local plantation. Here we were able to see how chocolate and coffee was made.
The final stop was to the basilica. This stop really was just a photo op since we didn't get an opportunity to enter.

L'équipe qui devait nous emmener en excursion était à l'heure.
Mme Gina la guide et Vladimir le chauffeur sont vraiment professionnels.
Une chance on était juste 2 personnes pour l'excursion donc on était VIP.
L'excursion en tant que telle s'est bien passé, on a appris beaucoup de choses sur la République Dominicaine vu que c'est notre première fois dans ce pays.
