Not being told the tour was cancelled and waiting for over 2 hours and then finally i had to call ro find out it was cancelled

Not Worth the Time

If you have been to any other old, colonized cities, it’s not worth your time. They’re all the same and not too much to see. We stopped at a monstrous place where Columbus is supposed to be buried — I call it a monument to nothingness. He certainly isn’t anyone worth celebrating and the city has a bunch of statues for him and other colonizers. Lunch is not good, and you eat at a designated place. You spend up to 14 hours on this excursion and only 1-2 in Santo Domingo, closer to three if you count the time at the cenote. Getting to the meeting point and later back to your hotel take forever! You will be hungry and tired when you return. Also, the transportation is older and not the cleanest.

The old city of Santa Domingo is breathtaking. The architecture, history traditions and water is profound. Our guide made sure we had a TASTE of it all. Even the Dominican lunch was Devine! Jose chose a charming tourist shop for shopping. Tres Oros is lots of exercise and worth it. BRING WATER AND GOOD WALKING SHOES I deducted one star because the pickup and transportation was a total cluster fluff however the driver was safe and charming. As knowledgeable as the guide was it was terribly rushed and his impatience was showing. That said clearly a man proud of his country and culture and just so kind.

Good trip overall. Some hiccups on the pick up and the bus was small and packed but the guide was very friendly and showed all key sites. Group lunch was better than expected.

Terrible este tour, el número de personas el doble de lo que te dicen, ni un vaso de agua dieron cuando decía que incluía agua, 2 horas recogiendo gente en hoteles para 3 horas de trayecto a Santo Domingo, el almuerzo normal a malo todo en carreras no dejan parar ni a entrar al baño ahh pero si 40 minutos en un sitio de artesanías para que compres para luego seguir corriendo y cubrir lo que dice el tour ahh pero como el bus se se daño de ida Roa a a compensar ese tiempo entonces el guia había dicho que para evitar el sol al regreso visitaríamos el faro de Cristobal de Colón y al final lo omitió por el afán del regreso

Il devait y avoir des bouteilles d’eau de fournies, mais il n’y en avait pas. La visite de la chocolaterie devrait être ajoutée au tour. Comme elle est situé tout près des boutiques de souvenirs et bijoux, il est très facile de l’incorporer. Ceux qui ne veulent pas rester trop longtemps à la boutique de souvenirs auront une autre option.
