Worst Excursion experience ever

The itinerary and what you actually get are incredibly different. No lunch at Hard Rock. During the dune buggy you go to 2 stops, where pushy vendors are on you the whole time. Then you wait for over an hour to get on another uncomfortable bus to ride for 30 minutes and then wait some more. Once you’re ready to board the boat- you find out you’re walking to a beach, through mounds of seaweed to climb into a small boat to hang on for dear life to get to the actual boat. That’s where me and my bestie noped out and left back to the hotel. We’ve been on a lot of excursions and this just plain sucked for the money. The itinerary says 8-3:30. More like 7:30 - 6 or 7pm.

Dear guest, We are truly sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations. We always strive to provide a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized excursion for all of our guests. Regarding the itinerary, we would like to clarify a few points for accuracy. Our tour includes a Dominican buffet lunch at La Bandera restaurant, not at the Hard Rock Hotel, as is clearly stated in the description. During the buggy ride, the stops at Atabey Park and Macao Beach are part of the program, where guests also have the option to interact with local vendors, though no purchases are ever required. Concerning the catamaran boarding, the presence of seaweed along the shore is unfortunately a natural phenomenon currently affecting the entire Dominican coastline. To ensure safe access, we provided a small boat to transfer guests to the catamaran, a common solution used by many operators under these circumstances. Most participants in your group accepted this option and enjoyed the sailing and snorkeling activities. We regret that you chose not to continue, but please note that the tour duration and inclusions were delivered as advertised. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we will continue working hard to improve our operations and communication so that all guests can fully enjoy this adventure. Bring clothes u don’t mind getting dirty!!!! We were a mess of dirt! Absolutely amazing trip. Buggy ride was about 30 minutes which is really nice but beach was rushed and I scammed $230 in chicken fingers and fries… we should have been warned. Beside that great tour would do again.
