Overview

Excellent value, great experience, beautiful ocean

We were picked up in front of our condo on time. The driver was very prompt. But the connection from the transportation to the excursion could have been better planned. We waited around for a while before we knew where we were supposed to be. We were picked up at 7:30 am and arrived at the excursion pick up point at around 10:30. The water was beautiful but rough. The crew on board were great. Very patient and welcoming and accommodating. We had 2 sea sick kids. When we arrived at the snorkeling spot, the gear was provided to us and we were allowed ample time in the water before moving to the island for lunch and drinks. The food was great. A lot of variety for everyone including vegan options. It was very relaxed and we had plenty of time to enjoy the island. The ride back was easier. We didn't ha e to change buses and were dropped right in front of our condo. We had a great day and would definitely do it again. Be mindful that travel time takes up about 1/3 of the day.

There was some confusion regarding the buses but once that was fixed, it was a nice day. We stopped for almost an hour to snorkel then over to Catalina island. We had lunch and time to relax. The open bar was a little disappointing as it was only rum, coke or 7 up served.

Avoid and consider official tours

Absolutely terrible! Not a catamaran tour. If you are wondering why this is a cheaper option compared to other Catalina trips, it is because this is not a tour. There is no guide, no animation, and no communication during the trip. You change 2-3 vehicles to get to the port. Go through a random construction area to get on a very crowded, single-file seating boat. Again, not a catamaran or motorboat as advertised. The island itself is beautiful, but please consider enjoying the trip with an official tour. I'm almost certain this is a second-degree copycat operation.

Good afternoon, first of all, the client was very upset from the pick-up point to the excursion, complaining that we did not leave quickly, complaining about the transportation to such an extent that we advised him not to do the excursion and return to the hotel, because when we have this type of clients it makes others have a bad day and that's exactly how it was, we had three negative comments but we apologize anyway since our goal is to provide a good service to our customers.

Next time I would book through our hotel as this group seemed a bit disorganized. Multiple van transfers on the way there and confusion seemed to add at least a half hour to the drive each way. The snorkelling was great at our first stop and we had ample time to enjoy it. It would have been nice to have known to bring snorkel gear to the island as there was not much to do there. Very little interaction, instruction and information from crew members, no mention of free bar and lunch was late.

Je n'ai pas vu le catamaran pourtant s'était le principe de la journée. Le taxi du retour ne rentrait pas dans les hôtels. La journée fût quand même sympathique vu le cadre.
