This place is great. We missed our bus to Puerto Maldonado and they agreed to reschedule with us even though they didn't have to. The lodge it beautiful, the rooms are nice and big with lovely patios, great pool to swim in as it gets hot there. The tour guides were fantastic and very friendly. Such a great value.

Our tour guide Tito has a lot of experience. Food is tasty. Our accommodation didn’t have aircon or a fan. Overall, although we had no aircon or fan our trip was amazing and exciting for both of us as travelers.

Roosters yelling at 5am under your window is not jungle experience

Two worst things about the lodge: 1) The lodge has roosters roaming free on the territory (see pictures). I was woken up before 5am. And they did not stop yelling until 6am. 2) “Clean drinking water” had bugs in it (see pictures). I would not be surprised if they just pour tap water into the “clean drinking water” jugs Two worst things about the tour: 1) The activities have huge breaks between them (1.5-2 hour long). So instead of watching the jungle, you aimlessly spend time at the lodge where there's not much to do. 2) I understand that with animal activities it is always a game of chance but here the guide didn’t even try to fix the situation, he just said “It's sad that we didn't see anything but we have to go back”. We went to the Monkey island and saw no monkeys. The guide said they are on the other side today, we said let’s walk. He said we HAVE to go back. Next activity was in 2 hours. If the whole group is fine with walking to the other side of the island and we have plenty of time before the next activity, why not do it? Same thing happened on the night activity where we went to see alligators. We saw 2 baby ones from very far way and left. The tour was 1 hour long.

Great experience great price for solo travellers

Absolutely amazing, I wish I booked longer. There’s no internet but you don’t need it, just enjoy the dairy that there is, the staff were amazing and accommodating. The tours were amazing! I loved that my guide also showed excitement when it came to what was offered. And the food is amazing, great portions amazing service all around. Definitely will be back

Fernando war ein super Guide mit guten Englischkenntnissen und viel Humor. Das Essen war auch immer sehr lecker und im Dschungel zu übernachten ist ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung. Für den Fall dass trotz Hitze jemand warm duschen möchte, das geht denke ich nicht, zumindest war bei uns kein warmes Wasser. Aber wie erwähnt, bei der Hitze ist kühl duschen viel feiner. Tolle Anlage mit nettem und bemühtem Personal. Mussten nämlich um unseren Flug zu erwischen etwas früher abreisen als die Botte normalerweise gehen und das wurde dann extra arrangiert. Haben nirgendwo die Info entnehmen können, dass täglich nur ein Boot morgens (8:00?) und nachmittags (gegen 16:00?) fährt. Die inkludierten Touren waren auch ganz cool und von Fernando haben wir auch immer viele Infos bekommen.

Notre guide Jonathan était très gentil, et impliqué. Passionné par son métier, il a tout fait pour rendre l’expérience mémorable. Tout est bien organisé. Le lodge est propre et confortable, respectueux de l’environnement. Le personnel est à l’écoute si restrictions alimentaires ou autres demandes.
