This adventure surpassed all of our expectations. It is such a unique experience and one that serves a bigger purpose. All of the volunteers are so knowledgeable and you can tell they truly care about the work they’re doing. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

Our guide was nice and on time. It was cool watching them dig up the baby turtles from their nests. I was beyond excited to hold my baby sea turtle in the bamboo bowl and release him into the ocean. We were all standing on the beach cheering on our little turtles scooting towards the sea. That’s when the amazing experience took a turn, the birds up above were diving into the water and flying off with baby turtles in their beaks.
I couldn’t help but feel that I just paid to feed the birds :(
