The tour was Ok and I appreciated the hop on and hop off feature. The recorded guide was really silly and dud t provide much historical info. It was not the company’s fault but the very heavy city traffic made for a slow trip and delayed pickups. The ride was extremely bumpy because of the cobblestone streets and the bus’ poor suspension and small tires.

This bus tour was okay, it lets you see the sights of Potsdam. The bus runs every 30 mins and is an automated tour.

This is terrible, the bus only runs by the hour and goes to the same stop 3 times. The driver was dirty looking and stopped each time to smoke a cigarette etc.
Do not do this!
Go only to sans soucci and ride a bike or hire a car to ceceliehof.

Firstly, the content of the tour is great. The tour provides a great overview of the main highlights of Potsdam. Potsdam is a great pace to visit .
I am reviewing the three stop tour with commentary provided by a guide, firstly in German and then a precis of the information in English. I am giving the tour three stars for the following reasons
1. Confusion at the start as to which tour we should be on.
2. The group was mainly German so the guide spoke mainly in German which meant we were waiting around at each of the three stops to hear the very short English explanation.
3. The bus commentary for English speakers was the same as Hop On Hop Off tour while the German speakers had live commentary and the opportunity to interact with the guide. I felt the English speakers were disadvanataged. I would recommend sticking with the Hop On Hop Off tour

Potsdam was great but the tour on the bus was less than expected. The English audio tour did not match as we were driving past the sights. Would visit Potsdam again but on our own as we found the buses ended too early to see the Palaces properly.

It was a nice tour. The guide was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the city. Although it is the size of a town, there are quite many things to see and the bus tour is the best way to do it.

This is a good way to see Potsdam in a day but unfortunately you need more than a day here as we found out
Chicle of where the wwii Potsdam agreement was signed has been retained in its original form an amazing place to visit
Charlottenhoff palace is brilliant from end to end
We enjoyed a nice lunch at the restaurant
Our day ended at sanssouci. It is a short walk back to the start if you want to stay after the last bus

Potsdam is a must-see for any visitor to Berlin, and this is a very good way to get around to give you a sense of the stops you weant to make to spend more time at. This tour seems to stop at all the must-see palaces, and it's vert reasonably priced. The audio is very informative.

Loved it! I recommend getting there early and take the bus tour all the way through, then start over and get off where you'd like to spend more time. The tour ends fairly early in the day (5pm) so we used the very convenient local transit to visit the sites we wanted but most of those close fairly early as well. Good value and a good price.

We were not sure how this would go because we don't normally like the hop-on-hop-off format. Never fear, this is the best hop-on-hop-off we've ever done. Potsdam is a magnificent city. You can't afford not to see this place if you come to Berlin.
...and a tip for all of you who might be reading that it is a bit of an effort to get to Potsdam in order to start the tour. Absolutely not so!. It is a piece of cake. Roughly 30 mins from Alexanderplatz on a regional train. Fast, comfortable and great value public transport. Do it!

The city of Potsdam was beautiful! As for this tour, the spot for pick-up is not well marked, so that started the tour off pretty tough. I am English speaking and the audio on this tour was not that great. It was a male and female having a dialogue during part of the tour. When we reached a point of interest there would be facts given, but that was about it. Music played or the two would dialogue some. If you are German speaking, there is a live guide that gives a detailed explanation of every sight. I know it would be better. If I had it to do over again, I would take an all English tour with a live guide, not an audio tour. For the money, just riding and seeing the sights was pretty. I did get off the bus some, but then knowing where to get back on the tour was tough and it only came every 30 minutes. The driver was rude and did not speak English. He told me to speak to the guide who was upstairs. I didn't even realize there was one on the bus. There is no physical location to ask questions before you board. You just have to be ready and watch for the bus. People were all over looking for the correct bus. It was pretty chaotic. I gave it 3 stars because it did take a pretty tour for a decent price.

Ebenso fährt der Bus nur 1x in der Stunde, nicht alle 30 Minuten, wie angesagt.

Eine Freundin und ich haben die große Tour mitgemacht. Man hat viel über die Stadtgeschichte erfahren und Teile der Stadt gesehen, die man als Tagestourist wohl nicht besucht hätte. Die Aufenthaltszeiten an den 3 Stops fand ich persönlich teilweise etwas kurz. Zum Schluss gab es aber die Möglichkeit, am letzten Ziel zu bleiben oder auf der Fahrt zurück auszusteigen und die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Positiv: Informative Tour durch das geschichtsträchtige Potsdam.
Verbesserungswürdig:
Audioguide etwas sehr oberflächlich und inhaltlich nicht immer korrekt, dazu nicht ganz synchron zu den passierten Orten.
Bestuhlung zu eng. Große Menschen haben nicht genug Platz für ihre Beine und sitzen gequetscht.
Die Pause von 25 Minuten am Luisenplatz ist zu lang. Wir sind deshalb vorzeitig ausgestiegen, weil wir nicht so lange auf die Weiterfahrt warten wollten.

Grundsätzlich hat uns die Stadtrundfahrt im Oktober 2021 gut gefallen!
Nur ein Tipp: Der Busfahrer sagte, dass der Bus alle 1/2-Stunde an den Haltestellen vorbei kommt. Auf dem Prospekt steht das auch! Aber seit Corona kommt der Bus nur noch stündlich (!!!) vorbei. Das kann schon mal für längere Wartezeiten sorgen und wir fanden das auch ärglerlich, dass wir das erst nach mehreren Nachfragen erfahren haben. Wenn man das richtig mitgeteilt bekommt, dann kann man sich auch darauf einstellen.

Alles in allem fanden wir die Idee sehr gut. Leider sind im Oktober nur noch wenige unsere Touris unterwegs, dass die Busse nur im stündlichen Rhythmus fuhren, so dass man immer lange warten musste, bis der nächste Bus kam. Das verplemperte Zeit und letztendlich haben wir durch den verspäteten Start (20min) und die etwas frühe letzte Fahrt nicht die ganze Tour geschafft...
Für den 20-minütigen Rhythmus ist die Tour sehr zu empfehlen.
