A wonderful morning on a quiet beach in the heart of Port Louis, where we cooked delicious Mauritian dishes. Preparing masala and farata was simply unforgettable and a unique way to discover Mauritius.

We really enjoyed the cooking experience with Eric, Mandy and Annabelle. It gave us a unique opportunity to learn about Creole culture, explore a traditional outdoor kitchen in a scenic setting and have a meal with local people we otherwise would not be able to meet. Highly recommend, especially for those who are staying in a resort and want a more genuine experience of Mauritius.

What a wonderful experience! This is without a doubt the best experience we had in the ten days we spend on Mauritius! This was not only a culinary workshop but also a culture workshop. You are invited into a real Mauritian home and you immediately feel very welcome. You are introduced to the Mauritian kitchen and all its spices. In our opinion, this is a must do and this is what you shouldn't miss! So when you have a sunburn, a rainy day, treat yourself with this amazing experience! It was a day where we laughed and learnt a lot - both about food and culture, so don't miss out on this lovely culinary workshop! We will look forward to come back one day!

As you mentioned it, spices are part of the Mauritian History and every ingredient can make you travel or discover their symbolism (remember the coconut as an offering!).
