Overview
The Daintree River, which meanders through one of the oldest rainforests in the world, is home to wildlife that you’re more likely to spot from the water. On this experience, cruise down the river with a guide looking for native wildlife such as crocodiles, tree snakes, and many species of birds. Learn about the unique tropical ecosystem along the way and return to the visitor center after about 60-90 minutes.

Beautiful way to see the river Amma surrounding area. Guide was great and got to see several crocodiles.

The tour guides very experienced and welcomed and friendly you see many crocodiles if that’s why your doing this tour was a beautiful day

Overall, not much to see. You could tell they had one or two crocs that were regulars that they visited. Not much to see.

Was very unhappy with the fact we paid for an 60 to 90 minute Experience Cruise and the cruise didn't even go for 60 minutes I understand that there wasn't much to see on the day but should the cruise still should of went longer

Seeing crocs in nature, is the highlight of the boat ride. I enjoyed David's interesting commentary on river wildlife. Thanks for bringing your lovely dog, Waya. Thanks to the receptionist/office lady who is friendly and made us cups of coffee. The office also kindly rescheduled our tour a few times due to transportation difficulty. Very much appreciated. An excellent experience!

The guide and ride where nice. The sighting of crocs. was none existent due to high tide and significant rainfall. I wish the tours would allow you to cancel given the conditions. When folks travel far distances to Australia, doing tours that don't provide the wildlife experience is a waste of time and resources.

We really enjoyed the boat cruise. We did it 2 weeks after the cyclone hit so it was very interesting seeing the destruction along the river bank. The guide was very knowledgeabe as well.

Great morning on the Daintree River.
When you first arrive & are offered a free hot or cold drink by the lovely staff in the kiosk.
Then you board the boat, and set off.
The excellent guide was able to provide interesting & excellent information about the river, the plants the animals, the birds.
I learnt so much and came away with an appreciation for how important this river is to the area but also to climate change.

A good afternoon. Thankfully on a different boat to the tour group starting at the same time as us. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any queries. Saw a few crocs, a snake skin some other wildlife and plants. All up a good tour.

The cruise experience was great! Viator advertised the cruise as 1.30 hours ultimate experience but the actual cruise only lasted for 50 minutes!!!!

The army Duck was good as well as the cultures animals and the Buffet Lunch was great strongly recommend this place the staff were outstanding.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the mangroves and animals of the Daintree. Our guide, Mick, was very knowledgeable and engaging. We only saw one crocodile and a few tree snakes but it was actually great fun just cruising along trying to spot more. I highly recommend this tour.

What a great experience! Stuart gave an entertaining and informative talk before the cruise, highlighting the river wildlife and the other creatures that make the Daintree unique. Chris, our tour guide on the boat, was a wealth of information, not just about the wildlife but the ecosystem of the river and the challenges to keeping it free from erosion. And we saw two small crocs! I took my US family and couldn't have asked for a better tour experience. Totally recommend them!

Had a brilliant time from the minute we arrived. The receptionist I forget his name was a right laugh. We talked about anything and everything. He called himself the queen of queens. Very info and charming guy. The cruise was great and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Only thing I would say is if your getting a taxi arrange your return as no cell service

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and so friendly. We wanted to see a crocodile in its natural habitat, and we saw heaps. This cruise definitely exceeded our expectations.
