Tony's Tropical Tours offer two departure times from Port Douglas only. The 7.15am departure from Port Douglas and the 8.15am departure from Port Douglas. Both departure times offer the same itinerary. A pick up time will be confirmed when the booking is made and accepted. If you prefer a certain departure time, contact us to see if it is available. We do not provide transfers to and from Cairns or the Northern Beaches of Cairns, Thala Beach Nature Reserve or Silky Oaks Lodge. Guests must make their own way to Port Douglas and allow sufficient time for travel to meeting point. Once your booking is completed please check your messages for pickup time and details and other information which will assist in making your day more enjoyable.

Kel was truly amazing the whole day - driver and tour guide all in one. Kel's knowledge about the Daintree and local area is something to be commended on. Excellent day out. Great information provided, well organised and friendly tour guide. Covers key sites plus a private property access to Daintree which is beautiful. Nice lunch and morning tea included. Highly recommend and very much enjoyed.

We had a fantastic day on this tour . Ash our tour guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the rain forest and all its species. This was complimented by Rays humour on the river cruise. To top it all we were so lucky to see crocodiles and a cassowary. The day was superbly rounded off by amazing icecream. We travelled with teenage daughters and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. I would definitely recommend this tour. A great experience.

An excellent small group tour into the Daintree.
Our guide Adam was just the right person for the job - his love for the area was obvious and he was friendly, helpful, informative, and strove to ensure that each person have the best experience possible.
He even doubled back after spotting an unusual amount of traffic, guessing that vehicles were stationary due to a cassowary sighting.
He was correct and we were privileged to watch a male cassowary shepherd 2 chicks into the rainforest.
Really enjoyed the day, well worth the money - recommended !!

Cal was a great guide.
Highlights were Mossman Gorge and walking in the rain forest.

This Daintree Rainforest tour was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Australia! The day was very well organized, with perfect timing so we never felt rushed. Randall was an incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining guide who shared so much about the rainforest, wildlife, and local history while keeping the day fun. Friendly small tour, very well organised,
The Daintree is spectacular, and you see many wonderful sights in one day.
We were lucky to see a pair of cassowaries.
The activities cover a lot of ground, and river without feeling rushed.
The food was excellent for morning tea, lunch and also the ice cream.
… and our guide Kel was friendly and knowledgable.

Excellent small group trip. A little rushed in some of the spots but Kel was great in giving just the right amount of info. Really enjoyed the lunch and the watering hole and the mossman river was great for croc spotting.

Great day. First I’ll state the bad. Booked several weeks prior for the earliest tour of the day. Day before I received a call we were moved to the later tour. Learned that there were large groups on the early tour and they bumped us without asking. That normally would have made for a bad review. However, our tour guide, Ash, was the best. He really cares about the forest, animals and was full of insight. He was by far the best tour guide we have had so far in Australia. We saw the Boyd forest lizard. Crocodiles and a cassowarie. The day turned out being awesome.

A really interesting day out. Our guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the areas we were seeing including the evolution of the rainforest and the characteristics of some of the trees, plants, insects and animals. Got to see some crocodiles as well. I would definitely recommend this trip.

We learned so much about plants and birds and lizards in the rainforest. Kel was enthusiastic and patient, making sure that everyone saw hard to see creatures. The lunch was excellent. A lovely day.

The tour was great and our guide Rob was awesome. We walked through the rainforest and saw the wildlife and plants. The river cruise was fun seeing wild crocs and birds. Lunch was good. Our family of five with three adult children, 18 to 23, were glad we did it. We covered a lot in a day.
