Itinerary
Make your own way to the Port Douglas Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina to check in for your sunset sailing cruise and board your luxury catamaran.
Receive a short safety briefing on board, and sip a complimentary welcome drink as your captain sets sail. Drink choices include non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages such as beer or sparkling, white, or red wine. The crew also serves a gourmet selection of hot and cold appetizers to nibble on during your cruise.
As your boat glides out on the gorgeous Coral Sea, admire the scenic surroundings including the mountains, Low Isles, and coastline, all set against the colorful skies of a stunning tropical sunset. Keep your camera handy for great photo ops and savor the experience of this classic evening sail on the Coral Sea.
After around 1.5 hours, your captain returns you to the dock in Port Douglas where your tour ends.

- Please note that we do not cater to any dietaries on our sunset sail but there is a variety of canapes to choose from.

Enjoyed our night thanks to the friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure everything was smooth sailing quite literally.
Would recommend to anyone looking for something to do on a budget. Overall a beautiful night, catering and sunset!

The staff was lovely. The sunset cruise doesn't always come with a sunset, which is understandable, can't predict the weather. However, choppy water made it feel more like a rollercoaster. Don't expect much for canapes, if you can stomach them during choppy waters. Lack of lighting while disembarking, made it unsafe as the gap between the boat and ramp was invisible. Use your torch people.

The catamaran ventures from the harbour and then sails in whichever direction the wind takes you. Drinks and canapes are served whilst underway which makes for a very enjoyable experience. The forward area of the boat has seating areas and two over water trampolines if you want to get closer to the waves. The captain and crew are all very professional and easy going. We really enjoyed the sunset cruise experience

The staff were extremely accomodating and attentive. It was vey rough ar sea and I question that perhaps the sail should have been cancelled. Several people were seasick and vomiting.. We got wet from waves over the sides of the boat. The ride was very challenging..

Although our experience started out not great it ended up better by the end. Unfortunately it was raining at the start and there weren’t enough covered seats for everyone. Several of us had to stand in corners in the cabin and the crew did not seem to make an effort to try to accommodate. However there were yummy snacks and beverages, the rain stopped about halfway through and we were all able to go outside and enjoy the return trip. So my recommendation would be to reschedule if weather iffy!

Wind and water were out of control many passengers sick we went around 20 minutes out and it was not relaxing everyone was getting thrown around. We came back and just went up and down the inlet. Cruise should have been terminated and credit given this was in there power, not seeing a sunset either was also disappointing but that is out of their control.

No Sunset, and very rough seas. Should not have gone out. Pretty poor by operator, considering the condition's. To sail out in rough seas and back was not our idea of a pleasant experience.

The boarding/departure process was smooth and simple: take off your shoes (standard with yachts), directions to the bar for complimentary drink on arrival along with the nibbles and further beverages if you wish. Then you're allowed to sit/stand anywhere you want and move freely throughout the journey after a quick safety talk. We went on a rather cloudy day, but the rain held off and it was still lovely. They had a pretty good play list of music playing at a good volume that didn't drown out the experience but enough to enjoy alongside the sounds of the ocean. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. There were about 9 guests plus staff on board but we felt like we had our own space to enjoy it almost like we were by ourselves. Would love to do this again if I get back up to Port Douglas again
