Finding the bush tucker was a great experience including the green ants!
Lunch was lovely and tropical fruits which we'd never had before
Response from Host, Dec 2022
The green ants are very usual for most, but for us we are raised on them... I made a drink for my kids today actually!

This was such a great day! You really get out of town, learn a bunch of new and important things, and just have a fantastic time. Juan is an awesome guide. Definitely one of the highlights of my time in Port Douglas!
One thing to note is that you do go to a mangrove and can get a bit muddy. We loved it, so definitely not an issue for us, but don’t wear anything you don’t want to get dirty 😊
Response from Host, Jun 2022
haha yes the mangroves are an experience not many have done before!

Aaron was a terrific tour guide, entertaining, informative and very generous with his knowledge. It was a wonderful experience thoroughly enjoyable. The aboriginal background to our native heritage was explained in detail at each experience and the cultural significance of living off the land was memorable and at times tasty, sweet and bitter but a wonderful experience
