We pick up from any hotels in and around Port Douglas, Palm Cove, Clifton Beach, Kewarra Beach, Trinity Beach & Yorkeys Knob.
Itinerary
Begin the day with morning pickup from your Port Douglas accommodation.
Ride in your air-conditioned minivan to Freshwater Station to take the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway (if option selected), which winds through the World Heritage-listed rainforest, passing towering waterfalls and the Barron Gorge. Upon arrival in Kuranda, your guide shows you around rainforest village, which is known for a range of arts and craft markets.
After your time in Kuranda, hop aboard the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway (if option selected), a gondola that glides over the rainforest canopy. Next, drive to the tree-lined esplanade in Palm Cove where you can purchase refreshments (own expense) and take in the beach, shops, and galleries.
Return to Port Douglas in the late afternoon where your tour ends with hotel drop-off.

This was such a lovely tour! A full day excursion that included Skyview Gondola and Scenic Railway. We really enjoyed the entire day. Chris our tour guide was so knowledgeable and we loved all his banter. He definetly went the extra mile and bosun (dog) was such a good second in command.

This is a must do in your travel plan but make sure you have a bottle of water with you as its very humidity up here its a great experience

Where to even begin, firstly and probably most importantly our tour guide... WOW Chris and his little companion bowsen, was the greatest tour guide in the entire world! This tour is great and lots of fun. We got to have a few stops, Port Douglas look out to take photos. Visit to Palm Cove for a drink and Pizza. Ride the Sky Rail, Stream Train and stop in Kurranda. It’s a full day experience with a small group and tour guide. Who was very nice.

This trip is well planned. The ride through the rainforest on the scenic railway had some amazing views, as did the Skyrail back down. There is plenty to do in Kuranda and you can get the chance of a photo with a koala too!

Pick ups at accommodations. Friendly drivers good knowledge of the area. Made to feel welcome. Mini coaches are clean and air conditioned. Tours are well organised. We had; a fabulous driver Chris and his dog. Good sense of humour. The rainforest train and skylift was amazing the scenery was breath taking

Nice experience both train ride and sky rail!!
Would be helful if rain ponchos are provided by the tour company..as a tourist we don't know what to expect..they don't cost a lot if imparted from China etc..but will be a great value addition.

Our guide Andrea who is the owner was fantastic and very informative
The train ride was amazing. However we stopped in the village Kuranda for 90 mins and it’s an awful place! The food choices were disappointing and we honesty didn’t expect that our tour would include a 90 minute stop in this village. But everything else was great
