We pick up from all hotels - rentals located from Playa del Carmen to Tulum. An additional pick-up fee will be due to the guide on the day of the tour if you are staying in Puerto Morelos (USD 45) or Cancun (USD 90). If condo or house rental, we require the full name and address of the place, sharing location via phone upon arrival is requested. For the best experience, we advise choosing a pick-up time of either 7:00 am from Playa del Carmen or 7:30 am from Tulum. This will allow you to avoid both the crowds and the heat, ensuring a more enjoyable outing. No shows applies 15 minutes after confirmed pick up time.

Our tour was fabulous! Joshua and Rodrigo were a great pair. The ride to and from our resort was comfortable and they provided water and soft drinks. Joshua really shined within the park- fabulous information from before we entered to the entire path through the park. He was great at stopping in shaded areas and giving us wonderful history data and pictures to supplement the story! I have mobility challenges and Joshua matched my pace- and did a great job interacting with/ answering questions etc. We can’t recommend this option enough in the heat! We got through before the heat of the day and did not see too many people before we were halfway through the tour! Well done Absolute Adventure!

Juan gave the best tour! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We avoided all of the tourist lines and explored Tulum before the heat of the midday sun. I highly recommend this tour.

A little difficult to understand . English was good but difficult to follow. Only did what he had to do and we paid for a private tour . Quite limited .

Hello Shelley, thank you for your feedback. We don’t understand what you mean by “quite limited”, while the tour itself is called “ Tulum express”. Tulum express private tour is a few hours tour that includes the private guided visit of Tulum ruins followed by free-time shopping, with pick up and drop off from your hotel in a private van. This is what was provided. We offer many other tours that have more activities, btw you contacted us the day before the tour to upgrade the tour with a swim in a cenote, but you decided to stick with the express private tour. The guide that hosted you is working with us since a long time and we never received complains about his way of guiding or his English fluency, being from American or British travelers. Still we have passed him your feedback. From our side, we offered you the excursion by following exactly the itinerary planned for this private tour. Best regards, Claire

Manuel and Josue were fantastic to have a private tour with. Manuel was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of both the site and general Tulum area. Really enjoyable express Tulum tour

A great way to visit Tulum when bringing along three teens. We arrived right as Tulum was opening so we had virtually no other tourists (maybe 2-3 other small groups there at the same time) plus the added benefit of it being cooler at 8am. When we were leaving at 10am the crowds were building up. Manuel was our tour guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even helped us find some good tequila and mezcal to purchase. Very good English and great personality. An added bonus was that he knew quite a lot about the plants and trees and since our son is very interested in horticulture, this was a big plus. Thanks for a great experience!

Great for those with limited time

This was a quick half day tour to see the main sights of Tulum. Our tour guide set us with a local guide who talked about historical facts of the site and the ancient Mayans. We had some free time for souvenir shopping and to get snacks. We were satisfied with this tour, it was as we expected.
