The tour was amazing! We had the best time and learned so much about the local birds. Carlos is very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail to us. We saw in just a few hours over 40 different types of birds. I can recommend this tour to anyone who loves wildlife and birds 💕❤️

Four of us took this early morning guided bird watching tour in late Jan. 2025. Carlos, our guide, was very knowledgeable about all the bird species we could hope to see, and over the course of our nearly 4hour tour, we saw 43 species! He used special bird calls to lure certain species out closer to us for photo ops. And he even created a list in Ebird for us to view. He took so many great pics for us. Really enjoyed this tour - well worth an early wake-up!

Great birding experience

Carlos was a great guide. We identified over 40 species in one morning and many some good photo opportunities. I would highly recommend Carlos as a guide coming from a beginner birder.

Our guide, Lugo, was very helpful with identifying birds. He was able to manually whistle like a Ferruginous pygmy owl, which attracted both the owl and other song birds (because song birds attempt to identify this small predator). We spotted about 40 species of birds, including two species of Trogons in the same tree, plus the Turquoise-browse motmot (see photos). Lugo also shared eBird list with tour group at the end so no one else needed to try and keep an active list of birds. I highly recommend visiting, especially in March and April. I also recommend wearing comfortable hiking attire and bring sunscreen plus mosquito repellent. Guide may have extra binoculars, but I brought my own pair as well.

I had such a wonderful birding experience with Carlos! Together we saw 58 species of birds which were tracked via the apps Merlin and EBird (which I recommend any birding fans download). We saw owls, hawks, buntings, Orioles and many many more! If you love bird photography, do yourself a favour and book this tour, you will not regret it!

This was one of my best birding experiences. Carlos was a great guide for the trip, and we recorded 52 species (with fantastic photo opportunities) in just 3 hrs. Carlos knew the exact hotspots and it was so much fun. 20 #lifers for me which I was not expecting at all in this season. I would strongly recommend this trip whether you are new to birding or a seasoned birder. Great photo ops also with birds at eye level. Again, an excellent morning, well spent.

Our guide Alberto was fantastic. My wife is an avid birder and we’ve been on many birding guided tours. Alberto was one of the best. His ability to identify a bird with a faint call was amazing and he was able to draw in the birds. My wife was able to see some life birds on this trip. We highly recommend it.
