I was travelling by myself, and my hike guide Scott was very knowledgeable, personable, and considerate. This hike was a perfect first activity for me to do, it allowed me to enjoy the views and learn more about flora and fauna, while not having to spend an entire day outdoors. I highly recommend Scott as a guide!

Scott was a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife and plant life. We even got to see a scorpion! He provided us with not only a fantastic hiking experience but information about local happenings. We will definitely be back to enjoy Arizona again!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Scott has an absolute passion for what he does and you can tell he is clearly comfortable in the desert environment. I participated in the sunset hike, and was not disappointed in the views! I would definitely book a guided hike with Scott again. He took time to stop and point out things that were interesting, and sharing the knowledge of the area he has acquired.

I highly recommend this experience!!! I went in the late spring and the desert was in full bloom. The mountain is in the heart of phoenix and the views were spectacular! I had booked a hike at another mountain with Scott last year and enjoyed it so much we tried this new one. Scott provided tons of interesting details about all the cactus, trees, and animals we saw on the hike, as well as good information on phoenix and the sonoran desert / southwest in general. He came prepared with flashlights for after the sunset, water, and a snack at the summit. Had a great time!
