Nice guide but not worth the money. Only 45 minutes (not a one hour tour that we paid for) and most of that was just walking on our own thru Notre Dame without the guide. Supposedly no guides allowed inside at this time, which they knew in advance but didn't tell us.
We paid way too much for too little service. The tour was suppose to take an hour, but the guide was finished after half an hour - and asked about this, he explained that usually the first half hour was spent standing in line waiting to get in Notre Dame. The tour was just a quick walk trough the church with some obvious comments from the guide.
When they advertise that the tour is of inside and out, the tour guide basically shows you pictures of the inside, She does not come into the cathedral with you. Our guide then told us she would see us outside in 20 minutes, giving us the impression that the tour would continue. We would have said goodbye to her prior to entry and spent more time inside. The tour guide was sweet. Overall not worth the money. To think they received 500 euro for 40 minutes of a few pictures and a little history is dumbfounding.
We booked the semi private tour of Notre Dame. There were six people in our group, which was perfect our Guide, Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable, explained the history, explained the parts of the building that we were looking at and talked about the restoration and renovation that has been occurring since the fire in 2019. The last time it was restored was around 1865 so it’s magnificent to see right now. I am so happy I booked this tour because the line waiting for tickets was clearly 1-2 hours long. And I wouldn’t have stood that l long to get a ticket and I wouldn’t have known about its history or all of the things that I was looking at. Thank you so much, Daniel.
Sarah was a great tour guide. I was very fortunate to tour on a Sunday while a service was in progress. Having the choir sing while you walked around inside was very special. Sarah is very knowledgeable about the history of Notre Dame.

This had nothing to do with the nice guide, but the tour would benefit from ear pieces. Very hard to hear

She was very informative .and took time to answer question before and after our actual tour inside the cathedral.
Unfortunately, we booked this tour not realizing that August 15th was a very important holy day at Notre Dame cathedral. Our tour guide Sara did a good job showing us around the outside of the cathedral and explaining the restoration after the fire. However, due to the immense crowds, we were unable to access the cathedral. The tour company realized the situation and kindly refunded our money. Rest assured, this is a tour company that puts the satisfaction of the customer as its primary concern.
This tour was an absolute highlight of our multi- country trip. Our tour guide, Ash, was delightful and incredibly knowledgeable about both the history of the cathedral and the renovation following the devastating 2019 fire. The cathedral itself is breathtaking. The insights Ash provided before we went in and the discussion and information after we explored inside were priceless.
Amazingly, Ash got us into the cathedral without waiting in line. That was much appreciated on this 99 degree day.

Our guide was very kind but it was hard for me to understand him with his accent.
He spewed a lot of facts from the exterior of Notre Dame and it was information overload…
I think if we were able to walk around the exterior, it would’ve been more engaging… Sometimes less is more

Our guide Madeline did a great job explaining the history of Notre Dame Cathedral, the fire, and the rebuilding of this magnificent cathedral. We started the tour on the outside of this ornate cathedral and then entered the interior. After our tour we paid I think 13 Euros to enter the Treasury rooms that contain cathedral gowns, jewels, and cathedral gifts centuries old. We were quite pleased with our tour.

Daniel was an excellent tour guide. He started by showing us informative pictures and explaining the history of the island and Paris. We then proceeded inside where we he explained the highlights and history of the cathedral. It was busy but he was patient.l with our family. It was beautiful to see and we feel fortunate to have had this opportunity for our family. Thank you Daniel.

The tour operator cancelled one hour before the tour was due to start. Then proceeded to imply that it was somehow my fault (?) that I did not receive his email as I was on a Eurostar train from Amsterdam to Paris specifically to see Notre Dame after the restoration from the fire. Very disappointing.
