Wonderful trip to Blue Hole. Our driver Kirie was terrific and our guide TJ at Blue hole was amazing. The water was cool and refreshing. My advice would be to go early before the cruise ship crowd gets there. Bring cash as there are lots of shops along the trail. The pics are expensive so be ready to barter

Great fun for the whole family

Having a private driver and guide at the Blue Hole made for a great experience. Driver locked up all our belongings while we swam/jumped/played. Our guide helped us weave through the crowds easily and helped get the absolute most out of our time. Blue hole is beautiful and fun for the adventurous ones in the family - a couple rope swings, several places to jump from cliffs, and lots of beautiful waterfalls. There are a couple slippery areas, but we wore aqua-socks (required) and we were fine. Only slight tricky part was finding our driver because our ship docked at a pier 1km away from the main port, but we found him holding a sign with our name on it.

Phenomenal experience enjoying a slice of Jamaica’s natural beauty. Cool refreshing water and terrific fun jumping in and swinging from ropes. Not what the description said - I only got part of the experience

It was not what I was expecting. The description on the website said, "Enter by swinging from a rope and plunging in, diving in from cliff or climbing down the rocks. After exploring the mini caves and waterfalls head over to Island Gully Falls where you will create a new adventure. Hike to another waterfall containing more levels with gushes of water powerful enough to get rid of any knot in the neck or back. After....swim in one of the pools that collect at each level of the falls." But I never got the first or last part of this. I was taken directly to a place whose sign said "Island Gully Falls", not Blue Hole. My tour guide only took me to the powerful waterfall where I was told to jump into it (not what I anticipated), two different times. I never saw any bright blue or green, calm body of water that I could swim or float in like in the photos. The entire experience was hiking to and then walking into and jumping into a rapidly flowing waterfall, and was over rather quickly. It didn't help that someone was running a smelly, loud chainsaw at the time because a tree had fallen onto a rope.

Thanks for choosing to do your excursion with us ,however there are times when the river is rougher than normal and as such the the trained lifeguards will do their assessment to avoid putting the customer in a life threatening situation.We really appreciate your patronage and regrets the unexpected experience.

I am from a Caribbean island myself, so I am familiar with waterfalls and the that type of scenery , but this place is just BREATHTAKING! We loved it! The water was cold, but so refreshing. The place to swing and jump in was the perfect added touch! It is worth the visit! I will say these two things, if you want to support the local sellers, just be sure you are with someone who would ensure you are not being taken advantage off. We almost got ripped of with some coconut water.. Had I not known about coconuts myself, the seller would have succeeded in taking advantage of us. secondly, I hated being felt like I am compelled to tip. Everyone is not from the US where tipping is more of a standard practice. Feeling compelled to tip after I already paid for the service can be very annoying! Other than those 2 factors, this spot was worth the visit!
