We had such an amazing time horseback riding with Young Family Adventures in Ocho Rios. Our guide, Michael, was incredibly kind and helpful the entire way. Our horses — Princess, King, and Lucky — were calm, gentle, and perfect for our group of mostly inexperienced riders. The ride through the water was beautiful and honestly one of the highlights of our trip.
The guides were all so friendly, and they went above and beyond by taking photos for us — something we definitely couldn’t have done on our own while riding. They also had some really cool local merchandise available, which made the experience feel even more authentic.
After we finished, Michael took us to get Jamaican Jerk, and it was absolutely amazing. We made it back to the ship with plenty of time, no stress at all.
Thank you to Michael and the whole team for such a memorable and genuinely enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

Horses seemed a little sad. You probably get around 20/25 mins on the horses. A lot of photos are taken so you know its going to be a hard sell at the end of the activity. You can barter the price. Expect to tip and get ready to be hassled. Overall we enjoyed our activity and time on the horses.
Super fun, I’ve never rode a horse but they make it easy and you feel comfortable/secure. They take as many pictures as you would like and the fee for the photographer photos were very affordable and worth the money! Everyone was very friendly and hospitable
Amazing experience, if wanting to go horseback riding, then you are looking at the right place ☺️. 10/10

We had a great time, the driver picked us up from the cruise port and took us to the beach, where the excursion started. The whole family had a great time, everyone was nice.
They were great! We had a wonderful time here. We felt very safe with the whole experience. We had an issue with getting off the ship and he was very patient with arranging a later time and was very conscious of our short time frame

My husband and I had an awesome time riding the horses. The trainers did and outstanding job with the care of our and the horses safety. They showed patience and they were considerate of our inexperienced with horse riding.
Michael the driver who took us to the excursion was also awesome. He made us feel like we were at home. He had us laughing the whole way there and back. This is an experience we will treasure forever.
It was very chill. The staff was very welcoming. They made my daughter’s day special with pictures. Being in the water with the horses was relaxing. Even my 7yr old enjoyed his self.
This tour was affordable and well worth it! The guides were kind, attentive, and made me and my kids feel very safe. They listened to our needs and helped calm my children when they got nervous about horseback riding. The driver, Michael, was top tier—super friendly and welcoming. I felt completely comfortable and cared for from start to finish.
Sooo much fun !! We recommend highly it’s very exciting and enjoyable 🩷 I also loved the Dunns River Falls .
Amazing experience - My wife and I loved this bucket list activity. I recommend asking for extra padding on the saddle to avoid bruising. Other than that - This was amazing!
