We had such a great day visiting The Blue Hole and river rafting. Our tour guide Tyrone was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He showed us many sites on our drive to Ocho Rios. The staff at The Blue Hole were kind and very experienced, the same goes for river rafting. The scenery at both locations was beyond beautiful and magical. My daughter and I made some wonderful memories! I highly recommend this tour!

The bamboo rafting and blue hole excursion was super fun! Rafting was chill and relaxing. Then the blue hole was on the adventurous side. There was a ledge to jump off and a swing to jump into beautiful water. It was super busy there but our guides left us with someone there who got us to the front of the lines somehow. It was a little rushed because they were trying to get us to our cruise ship on time but they were very contentious about ensuring we got back on time. Definitely take water shoes with you. We were a family of 4 with two teenage daughters and it was one of our favorite excursions. Would recommend! Benji and Shawn were our tour guides and were great! They took us on a side quest to shop and have rum tasting and also stopped on the way back for anyone who wanted take out of jerk chicken. Bring cash - there are lots of cool things to buy (if you wish).

Enjoyed every bit of this experience! The blue hole was my favvvvv!! We were able to jump in the water multiple times. It was very refreshing! I would do this again!

Waiste of time, dangerous driver

We were put with 2 other couples who were doing different things to us, so we sat in the vehicle for 2 hours before we did anything as we had to wait for them to do horse riding. Then we got to I the Blue hole and they had had a lot of rain, so it was very dangerous to get there through the water and you couldn’t swim as the current was too strong. Next was the rafting and again because of the rain we couldn’t go far so he took us about 50 meters up the river and tied us to a tree and left us there while vendors where trying to sell us rubbish, it was very embarrassing and uncomfortable. Then we had to wait about 40 minutes for the couples to come back from tubing. The trip should have been cancelled because of the excessive rain. 6 hours of sitting in a car with a guide driving like a lunatic and texting on his phone was not my idea of fun.

Thanks much for your review and these reviews help us to upgrade our products to customer satisfaction. This tour is a shared tour so there will be a bit of delay with picking up and assisting others on the tour. Guest stated that they waited for 2 hours at an attraction, however no attraction on the island last for 2 hours. Therefore we invalidate this complaint about waiting for 2 hours at an attraction. WE must apologize for the situation at the Blue hole and yes as guest stated we had a lot of rain, however the tours was still safe to be completed as observed by hundreds of other guests on the tour. Courtney Taylor Tours always put guest safety first and would never put guest at any risk or danger. WE did cancel a few days of tours because of the weather, however the attractions gave us the go ahead that tours were now possible from the attractions. Also the Bamboo rafting would have been the same weather situation and safety for us is a top priority. The longest drive time on the island is 90 minutes each way for this tour, however these people leave from Falmouth which is 45 minutes each way so there is no way he could be driving for 6 hours in a van, so this invalidate the review also. Also the heavy rains and flooding for days cause the bins to flood and cause the garbage to wash down from the mountains to the beach which took a couple days cleaning them up. We would agree with you about canceling the trips, however upon investigating and contacting the attraction we were given the go ahead that tours are possible, so for this we must apologize for your experience. We here strive for the best as you can see from our many previous reviews.

Fun Time at Blue Hole

We had a great experience with Carlos as our driver! He was very informative and made sure we felt comfortable continuously. Unfortunately our day was cut short due to a strike/protest of the river rafting workers but the company was very great about it and offered an alternative (horseback riding, which didn't interest us personally) or a partial refund. Overall, would recommend, especially Carlos!
