Jamaicas Blue Hole Tour

This tour was a fun filled time exploring several blue hole water pools and waterfalls. The activity was enjoyed by our group but this tour is not easy for those who may have trouble walking or not steady on their feet. The tour guide helped all of us navigate pathways over ricks and through running water which helped our experience greatly.

Fantastic trip to the Blue Hole - Ocho Rios

We had a lovely tour to the Blue Hole arranged by Jaital Tours. Communication before the trip was excellent and we were able to find easily the meeting point and the driver. The Blue Hole was just spectacular (you couldn't ask for more from any excursion) and after the excursion the driver took us to a nice souvenir shop near the centre of Ocho Rios where our tour ended. The driver was very knowledgeable of the local history and local area and made us feel always relaxed and at ease. Everything went extemely smoothly!! Highly recommended!!

Recommend only if you are good with jumping from a height

So I can only recommend this tour of you are good with jumping from a height. If you watch Olympic diving, the shortest of the platform dives is about the first jump. For the second jump you hold onto triangle trapeze long thing to swing out a little ways. That distance down is close to a standard diving board backyard pool height assuming you feel confident in holding your own weight for a few seconds. I can say the guide was incredibly nice and helpful. He convinced me to try it by jumping the first jump with me. I might have enjoyed it if I’d held my nose. I can’t say I did the amount of water that went up my nose. But he helped me while I worked on being able to breathe again. I didn’t do the second because I had no confidence in being able to hold my weight for that one. I will also add that it was nice that they didn’t overpack the van to get there unlike on my excursion for the next day. The part of the road closest to the excursion was incredibly bumpy but they did go as slow as was reasonable to make it as tolerable as possible.
