Itinerary

After being picked up from your central Nice hotel around 8.30am, soak up the scenery as you journey south along the spectacular Corniche coastal road. Traveling by air-conditioned minivan with space for up to 8 passengers, marvel at the views and stop to take photos of the idyllic beaches, sea cliffs, and hilltop towns along the French Riviera.

Before you arrive in St Tropez, pause to stroll around the pretty canal ways, brightly painted houses, and souvenir shops of nearby Port Grimaud, and get your first taste of the laid-back Riviera lifestyle.

Continue to St Tropez, where the scenic harbor is lined by glitzy yachts, colorful fishing boats, and lively cafés. Follow your guide to lively Place des Lys, then head to the beach to spot celebrities, browse the bustling market (Tuesdays and Saturdays only), and climb up to the to the 16th-century Citadel. You will also have free time to enjoy lunch (own expense), hit the beach, or browse the souvenir shops.

After a full day taking in the highlights of St Tropez, return to Nice via the scenic country roads of Provence, then end your tour with drop-off at your hotel.

Great tour, lousy guide

My husband and I did this tour and were so excited as it was our first time visiting the French Riviera. Our tour guide NICOLAS had : No personality, no skill, no knowledge, actually rude with a Napoleon syndrome. Once in a while, drily, he would introduce or say something that’s obvious with no real explanation or history behind it. He got bothered if he was asked to repeat something he said and was not understood. The other 4 guests were also flabbergasted and I am sure probably gave him no star but we don’t have that choice. The tour is very interesting with a dull neophyte. We can say this because the day before, we had a gentleman named Jean François from Bingo tour and both he and the tour were terrific! Please check who’s doing your tour before a couple days before and if it is with Liven Up Nice and having NICOLAS as your guide please RUN as your whole day would be a horrible experience. I would recommend you to book with the same St. Tropez tour with BINGO TOUR.

St Tropeiz not worth the time it takes to get there

The guide did not speak English very well. We got caught in traffic and he adjusted the trip to give us more time. He got us a ferry instead of driving. We tried to message when we wanted picked up but messages were not getting to him timely. He was nice and pleasant and tried hard to share information. Overall they were cute towns but not worth the long drive from Nice.

The amount of time at stops to explore and the group was small so didn’t need to worry about people not showing up on time. It would have been helpful if the driver/guide had a wireless mike in the van. It was next to impossible to hear his delightful information while driving due to road noise. He was great but just couldn’t hear him and all the information he had to share.

Overpriced chauffeur ride

The history of the area was the most memorable portion of the trip for me. St. Grimaud was a nice town and our driver was very nice, polite and helpful. However, this was not really a tour, just an overpriced ride to St. Grimaud and St. Tropez. We could have rented a car and drove and googled on our own timeline for half the price. $450 For a chauffeur ride for the day, we got screwed.

For a hour and half drive away...

For a hour and half drive away from Nice central was well worth the trip to St Tropez, stopped off on the way at Port Grimaud very similar to how Venice looks. Fantastic sights and lots of shopping outlets. Driver was very informative would highly recommend the trip to anybody.

Creo que dan muy poco tiempo para tan cara excursión. A mi opinión lo que más me gusto fue Grimaud , un pueblo muy lindo donde puedes pasear en en las lanchitas en el cual no pude disfrutar ya que no te dan tiempo nada más para ir al baño y salir corriendo, un mercado con muchas cosas artesanales muy lindas y los panes y comidas que venden allí muy buena . De lo contrario en saint tropez un puerto con mucha cantidad de turismo que no puedes caminar y lo único que ves es restaurantes con tiendas de diseñadores . Muy lindo el lugar pero yo no voy a Francia a comprar , sino a conocer más de su cultura . En Miami de donde soy yo , lo que se sobra es tiendas de diseñadores y celebridades . El tiempo que te cobran es en el autobús que ahí es donde se le va el tiempo a uno . En el camino . Creo que eso es lo que me cobraron .
