The Light up the Falls was an excellent package. We did this for my wife’s birthday. Our guide was Nickola and he was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and very personable The dinner at Table Rock restaurant was amazing. Great service and the meal was delicious and the food was plentiful. Then we went to meet Bill the Light Keeper. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the lighting of the falls. All in all I recommend this package.

Unforgettable unique experience of Niagara Falls

It truly was a unique experience and would highly recommend to anyone. Dinner was excellent, however the courses were rushed between each one. This was no reflection on the tour as it was purely the restaurant’s service. Would have loved to have more time at the illumination of the falls.

This was a wonderful experience, especially for first timers. The dinner at Victoria Place Restaurant was fantastic, and of course “I lit up the falls!” They even let us stay up on the tower to watch the fireworks, then dropped us right back at our door to our airbnb. Ebad was a great guide and fun to talk to!

Excellent tour. Starts with a great dinner on a patio on the Falls. Beautiful setting. The driver then takes you to the lighting tower for a view of the nightly fireworks. Then , the person who controls the lights gives you a lesson. I hit to control the lights. So fun.

A fun experience

Abin was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Lighting up the falls was fun and we got lucky and there were only three other people there so we had lots of chances to light all the falls. We would have preferred just doing the illumination and skipping the dinner.

The driver knew the falls history and was very nice. Dinner provided at Table Rock was top notch, delicious and ambiance was nice We had a wonderful time. Our day ended with a tour of the control room for the waterfall lights. The gentleman running the lights gave us an entire history of the lighting of the falls dating back from the first time.

Not a tour , you get to click an option of 5 colors on an IPad and was pushed out in 10 minutes.

One of the best attractions we have done, our guide Leila was amazing and full of knowledge. The trip was very intimate considering it was just my wife and I ♥️ it was the most perfect evening, we got to control the lights & front row experience to the fireworks without bumping shoulder to shoulder. We were lucky enough to get to see Manish again for our evening tour with Light Up Niagara and he made our experience even more incredible than we could have imagined. Once again, Manish did a phenomenal job of keeping our plans a secret to surprise my husband. He was available when I had questions pertaining to payment at the restaurant (which had great food but service was lacking - and seemed unaware of our predetermined bill). Thank goodness for Manish or we would have accidentally paid twice! He and Gene arranged a special lighting show for my husband, and Manish timed everything so beautifully we were able to pull up at the exact right time to watch the fireworks without having to stand in the cold for too long. I could never thank Manish enough for the incredible experience he helped me create for my husband’s 40th birthday celebration, the only thing I regret was not inviting him to dine with us! Tip your guides - gratuity is the best way to express gratitude.

This is not a tour

To call this a tour is the biggest misconception and deceiving description I’ve ever seen. This is a taxi ride and definitely not a tour. We were taken to dinner at a restaurant right in front of the falls, the views of course were amazing, the food I must say was one of the worst meals of our lives. Don’t waste your money on this, you can do way better on your own.

Would you like to view the Falls Illumination & the Fireworks along with thousands, crammed together, all maneuvering for room to breathe and get good pictures? This tour was the opposite!!! First, you are picked up by a great guide and taken to a very nice restaurant (in case you didn't notice, NO PARKING FEES!). The meal is from a Prix Fixe menu and is not the typical cheap meal...gourmet food at no additional cost. Next, your guide takes you to the Illumination Tower, where the lights come from! You go in the back door---no one else allowed--- and meet Gene, who has been doing the lights for over 10 years. Almost feels like you are getting a "back street pass to the Show"!! Gene gives you a history lesson, then shows and allows you to control the lights on ALL 3 Falls!!! You get to play for a time with the best viewpoint in the area...then view Fireworks! Afterwards, you receive an exclusive certificate for controlling the Illumination (can't get this souvenir anywhere else) and are delivered back to your pickup spot. Can't say enough good things about our guide and about Gene.

Despite inclement weather, the tour was really enjoyable. The dinner/restaurant portion was just okay. I have issues with fixed menus with just a few choices due to food allergies but the food was okay and service was average. The best part is definitely going to the Tower to see how they light up the Falls at night! Really cool! Also got to change the colors ourselves and see the fireworks show.

Samara was an excellent and very charming guide. She communicated clearly with us and made our tour most enjoyable. She was great! We loved the history at the power plant/falls lights presented by Gene, who also did a great job. Our server, food and the falls view were just great at the Queen Victoria Place restaurant. Just a thought—If possible, bring a hooded rain jacket, even in good weather, because the wind can kick up and cause the falls mist to blow over and feel like rain. We had a wonderful time.

This was exactly what my finance and I were looking for! A quick night experience that we were able to enjoy as a couple. We started with a great dinner, with the best view. We were sitting on the patio for dinner listening to the sound of the water and taking in the amazing views. The highlight of the tour is the illumination Tower where my finance and I were in control of the lights on Niagara Falls! Great experience.

We had an excellent time, particularly the tour of the illumination tower. The gentleman who operates the illumination gave us a historical tour of the systems lightning up the falls. He had been operating the different iterations of the light systems for a long time, and listening to his stories was like getting to experience a little piece of the living and evolving history of Niagara Falls. Notably, we got to actually change the colours of the lights! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get to do that. So cool. Our tour guide, Martine, was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. As a bonus, she told us some fascinating stories about the daredevils crossing the falls/ taking (mostly unsuccessful) barrel rides down the falls - if you have the chance, you should ask her to share. :)

For Dinner I had the salmon which was good. After Dinner we walked up to the Illumination Tower, which was the highlight of our trip! It was a memorable experience! Our group was given a short history of the lighting of the falls before we were escoted to the Illumination deck where we lit up Niagara Falls ourselves. I recommend doing the Tower if you get the chance, it was a memorable experience.
