Moderate amount of walking with lots of uneven surfaces, but still a terrific tour. Our guide, Vasiliki/Vikki, was very well versed in the history and had a passion for telling us about it.

Too many people

I was very disappointed with this tour. We went to the designated meeting point and we spoke to a few people who passed us. They told us the meeting point changed. We were never notified! Then, the tour was supposed to be for 10. The actual number was 19! It was way too large a group for this tour. We heard about 50% of what the guide said. If you look at the locations visited, you could visit them yourself.

This was cancelled because the tour guide was sick. So we don’t know how it was. Only found out earlier the day of the tour.

Great way to see the city

This was a great way to learn about the history of Naxos City. Also a great way to learn your way around the twists and turns of the city, so I’d suggest doing it early in your visit. Vicky was fantastic and informative, and we loved spending extra time with her during the tasting after the tour. The tasting by the way, is basically a full meal! We really felt like this fulfilled our hopes of authentic Greek cuisine experience. Highly recommend!

The pinnacle was reaching the Monument of Apollo at sunset. Our guide was impeccable on the timing. Our walk through Naxos Old Town was super educational.

Confusion Can Make a Good Story

Confusing start trying to find meeting place and then leaving a few people behind that we had to wait for the guide to find and get caught up. Then a last minute run up the hill for sunset at Apollo Arch. Otherwise Rena was informative and animated with her stories. We did one shot of citron liquor along the way.

Worth doing in Naxos

This was a lovely, laid back tour. Only 4 of us on it. It took around 1 hour 45. Guide kindly waited for someone who was at the incorrect meeting point. Guide took photos of us, and brought us all around the vast castle grounds in the town of Naxos and the Temple of Apollo.

Last minute cancellation by the guide

As much as we were looking forward to this sunset walking tour, unfortunately the guide was unwell at the very last minute. The office staff were very apologetic and their customer service to facilitate a full refund was prompt and professional. We were offered an opportunity to experience the tour on another day but sadly, we were leaving early the next day. Next time 🇬🇷

Very informative tour, I would suggest doing the tastings, the cheeses are incredible and I love how Rena has connections with various shops in the town to bring this experience to life. Highly recommend to get real information on the history of the town and the different sights to see.

Wonderful Naxos sunset tour

Natasa was a wonderful guide! Naxos is beautiful and we enjoyed the beautiful sunset at Apollo’s temple. We also did the food/wine tastings afterwards. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was great!

Natasa is super sweet and authentic but the pace and content was just okay to me. I expected food and drinks along the way not just at the end. All in all it was good but I wasn't too impressed to be honest.

Beautiful walk and sunset in Naxos

Beautiful walk through the city of Naxos. Rhana did an amazing job sharing the history of The Naxos Castle with us. We also enjoyed a tasting of the local wines and cheeses. And of course the sunset views of the Portora and harbor were a perfect ending!
