Genevieve (Genny) was an absolutely amazing tour guide who gave us a wonderful review of history and introductions to all the sites and food we explored. You can tell she loves what she does. I also love the fact it's supporting all locally owned businesses, as small businesses make this country special!

We enjoyed our walking food tour with Genevieve. She is very sweet and tells many stories about the history of Nashville. All of the food and drinks along the tour were excellent. Super fun day in Nashville. :)

Food Tour in Downtown Nashville

Erin_S, Apr 2026
Pros: Kristyn was very friendly and had fun stories. She took us to a nice rooftop spot for pictures. I appreciate that the tour targeted locally owned and operated spots. Food items (roasted chicken sandwich, ribs with slaw, shrimp & grits, and a caramel & praline) were fine with generous portions but perhaps not the iconic Nashville specialities we expected. Cons: It was incredibly loud outside and we struggled to hear our guide. Alcoholic beverages were just okay. We finished nearly 30 minutes late after spending a bit too long in a few spots.

Best food / walking tour!

Little Local Flavor Walking Tour with Genevieve Wear your comfortable walking shoes, arrive hungry, and don't skip the drinks, because you're going to want to indulge along the way. Our guide Genevieve was the absolute highlight of the experience. A true Nashville native, she brought an unmistakable pride and passion to every stop along our roughly 3-mile journey through downtown. She wasn't just reciting facts — she was sharing her city, her stories, and her love for the culture and community that make Nashville so special. What set Genevieve apart was her rare combination of wit, charm, and genuine warmth. She kept the group laughing, engaged, and well-fed the entire time. Whether you're a first-time visitor or someone who thinks they already know Nashville, she'll show you something new. Little Local Flavor delivers exactly what its name promises — an authentic, flavorful taste of Nashville through the eyes of someone who truly calls it home. Absolutely worth every step.

Genevieve was a great tour guide. Good knowledge of Nashville and very personable. She also made sure that all in the group could keep up the pace by accommodating two of the people on the tour who needed a slower pace.

Highly recommended

Donna_F, Oct 2025
Walking pace was excellent. Knowledgeable of Nashville. Food was also excellent. Meat tender. Salad was very fresh. Drinks not to boozy.

It was cancelled by the tour company at the last minute because they couldn't get their restaurants lined up. Very disappointing. They offered to change the reservation to the next day but we were not available.

Interesting walking tour of Nashville with emphasis on locally owned businesses. Good value for the money. You will not be hungry after the tour!! Krystin did an awesome job.

They canceled our tour the day before

Don't offer a tour when the restaurants are closed. If restaurants are not open on Monday why offer a tour. Lousy!

Great walking tour around downtown Nashville with historical (and sometimes whimsical) commentary provided by Genevieve. (sp? 😉) Some excellent southern food and drink choices as well to round out a fun few hours.

Lindsay_L, Aug 2025
It was so hot out and instead of it being a food and booze tour it was a walk around downtown Nashville. While maybe some appreciate the walk about of history- it was grueling heat and that was not what we signed up for. Our tour guide did not read the dynamic of her group at all.
