Memorable experience and day trip

My first time travelling solo for awhile so it was a pleasure to meet Meshack who connected me with the guides and made sure my day trip went smoothly from the hike, to meeting local people and experiencing the boat ride on Lake Nalvasha. I was curious and had lots of questions, Meshack and the local guides were very informative and knowledgeable and as a teacher this was very important to me to share with my students too. A truly incredible experience that I will never forget for all the right reasons. I highly recommend you connect with this tour and Meshack.

INSANE adventure with magical memories!

Our driver, Surfick was kind, courteous, punctual, and an amazing driver! Our guide, Joshua was magnificent with patience, knowledge, and unbelievable stamina! He waited while we took breaks and told stories about his grandmother. It was a personal experience that made us feel special! Joshua's continual cheerleading efforts got us to the top! Seeing the crater was our present and so worth the 8398 foot climb!

Mount Longonot and Boat Ride on Lake Naivasha

We had a lovely day out to Mt Longonot. The distance from central Nairobi was reasonable - 1 hr 40 min one way. The trekking uphill was bearable and the view was great. Our guide was great as my wife was having difficulty walking up but the guide patiently waited for us. The usual trip was 3 hours but you will need more time to walk around the perimeter on the top (7.2km). The boat ride was enjoyable and effortless; highly recommended for bird and hippo lovers.

Traffic on that road is...

Traffic on that road is terrible always takes 2 hrs and our allocated driver was the worst we have had in 20 years of expedition travel ……… English very poor and driving poor

Thank you for your review. Yes traffic on that road is Bad because of an ongoing event down the road. WRC world Rally Championships. It was out of our control and the driver did his best to manourve and get there. He was not a bad driver. Your English accent was very strong and he had a hardtime understanding you. We are happy you got to longonot and hard a great hike as per the tour description

Climbing Mount Longonot and relaxing at Lake Naivasha

Thanks for a spectacular tour to Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha. Peter and "black Santa" picked me up at the hotel early in the morning. Black Santa brought us in two hours to the starting point of the hike. Climbing up the crater of Mount Longonot and walking on the rim of the vulcano was a unique experience and Peter a very helpful guide on the mountain. The relaxing part of the trip at Lake Naiwasha was well prepared, and the boat trip ideal for watching hippos and visiting the Crescent Island from the boat. I recommend this tour to everybody who wants to combine hiking and relaxing in the beautiful landscape of Kenya.
