Itinerary

Your half-day island adventure begins with midmorning pickup at your hotel or the Mykonos cruise port. Start with a visit to the charming port town of St. Ioannis, where you can see fishing boats gathered in the harbor and visit the historic church where the town’s patron saint once lived and where an annual fair is held in his honor.

Next, get a more modern perspective with a stop at the Mykonos airport, offering a chance to see planes arriving and departing the island. Continue on to the the traditional village of Ano Mera, where you’ll be welcomed at an organic family farm. Get a personalized tour from the superintendent, including hands-on exploration of farming equipment and a chance to meet the livestock. Before leaving Ano Mera, enjoy a small stand well-stocked with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and take a guided tour of the Panagia Tourliani monastery, one of only two on the island.

Drive by the unspoiled beaches of Kalo Livadi, Kalafati, and Aghia Ann, keeping your camera handy for a photo stop, and relax over a light Greek-style lunch or snack (depending on lunch option selected). Finally, take in a fantastic panoramic view of Mykonos Town before saying goodbye to your guide back at your hotel, the cruise port, or another central location of your choice. Alternatively, upgrade to include a guided walking tour of Mykonos Town.

Our company is not responsible for the client’s failure to appear at the meeting point for the booked tour or activity.
Last minute cancellation of flights or inability to disembark from a cruise ship, is not our company’s responsibility, therefore any refund requests due to such incidents will not be accepted. Should the client be aware of such a change, he/she is requested to communicate with our company more than 24 hours before the tour or activity starts, in order to discuss possible date or time amendment (subject to availability)
Refund requests for last minute cancellations (up to 24 hours before the tour or activity), for any reason, will not be accepted.
All clients are kindly requested to send their preferred meeting point and location until 3:00pm of the previous date, regarding their pick-up for the booked tour or activity. Should they fail to do so, our company will do anything it can in order to locate them (telephone, email, etc), however it is not responsible for any failure to meet them. Meeting points could be, anywhere on the island and the information necessary is either the hotel name or the name of the cruise ship they are arriving with. In the occasion that they are staying at an apartment, clients are requested to send us a google map, a nearby hotel or any information that would help us locate them. Any delay of behalf of the client (up until 15 minutes that we will be waiting for them) affects the transfer schedule and disrupts the smooth conduct of the tour/activity.
For no-name accommodations, our company will set the most convenient location for the pick-up.

For accommodations that are located in a pedestrian zone, our company will set the best possible pick-up point.
Our company is not responsible for knowing whether the client is supposed to book transfer or not. The transfer schedule is prepare less than 24 hours before the operation, therefore we cannot predict such necessity.
Transfer inclusions include a certain distance, while for remote areas Elia, Kalafatis, Agrari, Panormos, Super Paradise, Kanalia, and other remote villas an additional charge will apply € 10 per person (to be paid in cash on the spot).
On late arrivals, tour content and activities that were missed would not be refunded.
No reimbursement, compensation, partial or full refunds would be given.
Itinerary: In case of a force majeure and/or reasons beyond our control and events that occur after the tour departure, we reserve the right to modify the routing and alter the itinerary.
Tour duration can vary depending on traffic conditions & weather.
The total duration includes transfer from/to hotel or port.

The guide was excellent but we were deceived. He took us to a "farm" the size of a large room next to a restaurant. That's deceptive. When we exited the bus, I asked him about going into the old city, but the guide only mentioned the old port and the new port. There was lots to see in the old city including windmills: we never got there. I didn't realize Viatour, the ship and other travel agencies use third parties. We should know this before booking. I would have been better off taking a taxi or shuttle. Saul Schildhorn

Please allow me to clarify a few things: From the tour description (overview & list of stops), it is very clear that this tour does not involve walking in Mykonos Town. I assume that your agent may not have informed you of this detail. Regarding the “farm” visit, the goal of the visit is to provide guests with a local, authentic insight into traditional Mykonian cuisine and lifestyle. On that day most probably we had parallel activities at the farm and this was the only available area. As for the ports and sightseeing, the guide followed the planned itinerary. We are happy that you enjoyed the guiding part, which is always one of the key aspects of our tours that one does not have the chance to experience with a taxi or a shuttle. We understand that expectations may vary, and we will take your feedback into account to ensure clearer communication for future guests regarding the scope of this tour. This tour was absolutely fantastic. It is a really nice way to get to know the island, with several interesting stops to learning about Mykonos, sightseeing and taking pictures. The food at the farm was excellent. Most importantly out guide Sara was great , although we booked in English she , being a native Spanish speaker, did the tour in Spanish. Mykonos Tour

This was mostly a bus ride around the island. The only real stops were the church and lunch at a cute farm/ restaurant. Actually, lunch was what made the tour worth our while. The tour guide was nice. We got some good pictures.

This was a very nice tour, lots of beautiful stops, we went to a monastery, and I was a little disappointed that the guide did not go in with us and tell us anything about the monastery. We ended the day at a private farm that had a restaurant which was fabulous after lunch and wine. We had a tour of the farm and this was truly the highlight.

Good tour of the island. The farm visit is avoidable though the local lunch and wine there are good. The monastery visit was nice though it is small. The guide explained Mykonos through the eyes of a person who lives there with plenty of humour

NOPE - a disappointment in instructions and communication

We were told/messaged to meet at 10:30am. A further message confirmed that we were being tendered to "Old Port". We, in fact, were tendered to "New Port" and we wandered around from 9am. Once we realized we were in the wrong place, we hightailed it over, arriving at 10:33am. I turned on phone roaming (cost = $16CAD), at which point I received messages sent. The group left without us. A few messages back and forth, including them offering to catch us up to the group for an additional cost. Not an option, at this point, as we were upset over being left behind.

Never Again

We missed connecting with the tour group due to the tour operator's poor instruction and communication. On Thurs, July 4, we booked the 10:30am Fri, July 5 tour and inputted our preferred meeting point as "Mykonos Port". Viator's confirmation email read the pick-up was at the "Cruise Ship Pier, Cruise Ship Pier, Aegean Sea, Tourlos, Greece." No additional, more specific details were provided. We arrived at the Cruise Terminal Pier from the cruise ship by tender at approximately 10:05am and searched for signage of the tour operator and asked different officials if they could direct us to the appropriate area for tour pickups. Ultimately, no one could help us and we did not find the tour operator. At approximately 10:23am, after getting an internet connection, we messaged the tour operator using the link provided in Viator's confirmation email to advise we were at the pier trying to locate our driver. The tour operator did not respond to our message until 10:49am, and indicated they had waited for us until 10:40am and had departed, but we could pay a 39€ transfer fee to join the tour at a different location. We declined. Subsequently, by messaging us through Viator (which we received by email), the tour operator stated they tried to call us by phone and WhatsApp (yet, not by email) the prior evening, and we had not responded. (Note: The confirmation meeting point, "Cruise Ship Pier," was strong indication that we were traveling on a cruise ship, which often have unreliable internet; and contact by phone assumes we (1) had an internet package with sufficient bandwidth to receive calls and (2) use WhatsApp.) We requested a refund since we missed the tour, which the tour operator refused by insisting that they tried calling us the prior night and we did not answer. Nevermind, we tried reaching them through Viator the morning of before the scheduled start time. When seeking Viator's assistance to get a refund, they also declined by repeating that the tour operator tried calling us (no matter how unreasonable it was to rely solely on calls given the circumstances) and stated: "We kindly ask all clients to provide their preferred meeting point and location by 3:00pm the day before their scheduled tour or activity." We did not book the tour until 6:31pm the day before (which did not stop Viator from taking our reservation and our money). Additionally, we provided that our preferred meeting point was Mykonos Port, which was reflected as the "Cruise Ship Pier" in Viator's confirmation email. Through it all, the tour operator and Viator placed all responsibility for this mishap squarely on us and refused to refund any portion of the tour fees. For the above reasons, I gave the tour operator one star (because zero stars was not an option) and I will never use Viator (nor their parent, Trip Advisor) again.

I would like to take the opportunity to examine this issue in depth, therefore please read my comments below: 2 days prior we contacted Viator in order to inform them that we haven't received any pick up details from you (after our unsuccessful efforts to contact you on the phone number you provided) . No response from Viator either. On the day of the tour , we tried to call you again from our office line , again you did not pick up. We informed Viator. In the meantime , our driver was at the port holding a sign with your name (as we do with all our clients, whether we have information from them or not) The only information we had provided was that you will arrive at the port. Finally at 10.49 we sent you a message quoting the following : We have been trying to call you but there was no answer. My colleague sent you a message in WhatsApp yesterday, but you haven't opened it. We have been waiting for you until 10:40, we can't wait more than 10 minute as there are other people in the tour, therefore the tour has already began. We can offer you a transfer to find the group and continue the tour with them, the price for this would be 39€ in total, to be paid in cash on the spot. Please let me know if you agree so we can arrange your pickup. You can contact me in WhatsApp +30 6973259574. As you understand from our side we used all possible options with no success and therefore we believe that this review is totally unfair. Please note that clients are obliged to provide detailed information upon their booking in order for the tour operator to make the necessary arrangements in advance. Not a good business model

Celebrity diverted due to weather. We cancelled the tour immediately upon hearing about the diversion about 20 hrs notice vs 24 required. Viator nor the tour company will provide a refund. Think twice about booking.

The tour Guide Christina was excellent in all respects...pleasant, informative and well spoken. It was regrettable that two other individuals in our small group of three were so rude to her. They complained about everything from the very beginning of the tour. I thought Christina was a Saint in how well she handled these people and kept her composure.

Our tour guide Christina was knowledgeable and personable. We saw some interesting sites and several beautiful beaches. She told some jokes and kept us engaged while we were traveling around the island. The visit to her farm was interesting and the lunch served was quite tasty. There were options at different prices and there was ample wine included. We had the snack and were satisfied. I would recommend this tour and tour guide to others.

This tour showcased all parts of the island, both the upmarket tourist areas & very interesting residential areas. The most memorable part of the tour was our visit to the farm which produced their food & wine on-site. The meal & wine were fabulous but the best part was having the owner of the farm share his stories of the farm & his produce.
