I’ve been on a lot of excursions, I can’t remember when I had such a wonderful time. The jet ski experience was amazing. Everything from interacting with dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays and sharks was phenomenal. It was a three hour long jet ski ride and was just perfect. The ATV was nothing short of a wonderful experience as well. We saw a lot of the island and went up to places we definitely couldn’t hike to. The staff was top-notch. I highly recommend the excursion for anyone that wants to spend the day seeing the best of Moorea.

This was a 2 part tour with Jet skis for the first half and atvs for the second half.
The first half Jet skiing was terrible. Our tour guide, Hotu, was awful. He actually stopped us all and told us to wait for him and then went off to a boat that was in the bay. He started screaming at them and telling them "to get the f*ck out of here". They got into a total screaming altercation and he was yelling that he's calling the police on them. This went on for a good 20 minutes. I understand that boats are not supposed to stop to watch the whales, but he could have just called the police and continued on the tour. It was completely unprofessional and cut into the tour that we paid almost $1000 for. While this was going on, he was flailing his arms and at one point I thought he was motioning for us to come by him so we did. He started screaming directly at me saying "Katie- I told you to stay over there and keep everyone over there!" I told him I thought he waved us to come by him and he told me next time to listen. Completely ridiculous to put me in charge of keeping the group together and singling me out when he was the one in charge of the group, not me. Anyways, we continued on the tour and he was treating it more like a joy ride than a tour. He told us in the beginning to stay directly in his path because there are reefs above water and if we break something we'll need to pay a lot for it. We also had a person in the group that had never Jet skied before. Hotu was zig zagging like crazy and it was difficult to keep up with him. I've personally been on the water all my life and have had lots of experience on Jet skis so I stayed in back but it was super annoying trying to keep on his trail when he was all over the place. Everytime we stopped my Jet Ski would barely start up again too and more than a handful of times I'm sure I would've been completely left behind if I didn't get it started because he just kept going almost out of sight while I was struggling to get it started. At one stop point I told him my Jet ski was barely starting and asked him to make sure to watch for me to make sure I didn't get left behind. Literally like 10 minutes after that my husbands Jet Ski wasn't starting and he totally left us both. I stayed with my husband until he finally got it started but Hotu was out of sight by that time. We weren't sure where he went but we knew the direction and started going that way. Finally we found the group and he was stopped- he started yelling at us saying we "need to keep up". I almost lost my cool on him but I said " I told you to watch and that my Jet Ski wasn't starting and then my husbands wasn't and you still just left" Then he accuses us of staying behind to take pictures! We were taking pictures way before the group started going but if he would've looked back once he would've seen my husband was struggling to start the ski. On multiple occasions throughout the tour he also yelled at the other people in the tour group but I can't tell what he said because he was speaking French. But this guy was completely terrible and ridiculous and if I could give negative stars for him I absolutely would. I've done a ton of tours like this and never experienced such complete arrogance and negligence before. We also stopped at a coral Reef area and he just went off and left us to talk to other guides on the boats. We were also pretty annoyed that this tour didn't even provide snorkels for a Jet Ski and snorkel tour. Hotu said it was because of covid which is complete bs... I'm also a diver and I've never heard of any dive shops getting rid of their regulators due to covid, so I'm not sure why a snorkel tour would get rid of their snorkels. Literally just the company being cheap.
For the atvs, it was a completely different experience. We had Mata as our tour guide and he was amazing. He stayed with us the entire time, explained everything thoroughly- told us about the plants and mountain and stories and history behind everything- even made a pit stop to see the freshwater eels and feed them. He also offered to take video of me and my husband on my gopro for us while we went through puddles and fun areas. And he took his own pictures of us on his camera as well. He was so great and he's the only reason I'm giving a 3 star review because I'd give Mata 5 stars and Hotu 0 or negative stars. Hotu needs to take a lesson from Mata on how to actually guide a tour and also maybe anger management classes so he can stop screaming at everyone he comes into contact with.

It's really strange because we replied to your comment, and I see that the response hasn't appeared yet.
Obviously, since it's been a month and a half, I don't remember your tour and your bad experience, but I thank you for distinguishing between the two tours and the two different experiences.
We're delighted that despite the bad experience with the Jet Ski tour, you still did the quad bike tour and enjoyed it.
Indeed, we no longer lend snorkels for the Jet Ski tour, only masks to get a closer look at the rays and sharks, because we can stand in the water where we stop during the tours, and it's a Jet Ski tour, not snorkeling, so the masks are sufficient. Of course, during the Lagoon Boat Tour, we lend masks, snorkels, and fins, and we swim in deeper areas to enjoy the Lagoon.

In the morning we jet skied around the crystal clear blue waters with stops to snorkel , see the rays and sharks and had an absolutely fun time . Back to base for lunch and then onto the afternoon riding the ATV’S through the countryside of Moorea . So many stops, spectacular photo opportunities and so much fun . Finished the day exhausted but so many brilliant photos and memories ! Thanks guys

Hotu was our guide for the jet skis he was the absolute best, took us to an area where we seen dolphins with one swimming right next to our jet ski, we seen turtles and then he took us to a beautiful snorkeling spot and then to swim/snorkel with the stingrays and sharks. It rained 2x on the tour. First time wasn’t bad but the second rain was a little bit worse but he was able to navigate us out of the down poor. The ride itself was blast. One back our ATV tour had to be rescheduled due to the weather, we were completely okay with that as we were exhausted. We went back a couple days later for our ATV tour this time we were paired up with our guide Marco, he was the nicest guy, we had another awesome experience he took us on a exciting ride, we rode in the rain splashing through large pools of water, though back roads and up the Magic Mountain with beautiful views. Highly recommend booking with Moorea Activity Center!! We will definitely book with them again.

My husband and I booked both the jet ski and ATV tours with Moorea Activities Centre, and it ended up being the absolute highlight of our honeymoon! This company truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have an unforgettable time.
We started with the jet ski tour, and our guide Hotu was fantastic. He had such a great energy and made sure to point out all the incredible marine life along the way.
Between tours, we realized we had forgotten to bring lunch, and the team kindly offered to drive us to a local spot. We ended up at Fare Tutava and it was delicious, such a thoughtful touch that made us feel well taken care of.
Later, we went on the ATV tour with Marco, and even though it rained, we still had an absolute blast! Marco brought so much fun and enthusiasm that we honestly didn’t mind the weather at all.
Everyone at Moorea Activities Centre was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. We can’t recommend them enough. If you're visiting Moorea seriously don’t miss this!

Its a long day, pack some snacks and have money to purchase food on the one stop on atv. Food should be provided for such a long tour. Not just some teaspoon of some jam. It should be advised to bring money to purchase food during atv tour.

Indeed, if you choose to do both tours (jet ski and quad) on the same day, we recommend bringing something to eat for lunch (we have a fridge and microwave available). If you didn't bring anything to eat, there's a snack bar nearby. But the jam isn't really a meal, but a tasting of local flavors. 🍍

We had a blast on the 4 wheeler tour through the mountains of Moorea! Unfortunately it was too windy to do the jet skis, but our guide did a great job of making the most out of what we could do!

I went on the atv and jet ski tour with 5 members of my family. My mother in law is in her 70s and my husband and I also went with our teenagers. Everyone had a lot of fun. The guide helped my mother in law be able to get in and out of the water to snorkel. Loved seeing the overlooks.

Amazing tour in Moorea! We started off on a thrilling jet-ski ride where we snorkeled in the coral gardens, saw turtles and snorkeled with stingrays and black-tipped sharks. The Center assisted our large group in making lunch reservations and then in the afternoon we went on a thrilling ATV ride up into Moorea’s mountains. The views were just gorgeous. Our guides were great and gave us all an unforgettable experience- our adrenaline-junkie teens particularly loved the tour. Highly recommend!

100% recommend this tour!! Communication was clear and we started off with a quick lesson on the jet skis to ensure everyone felt comfortable. We zipped around the island, stopping to snorkel with black tip sharks and sting rays, as well as snorkeling in the coral gardens. We also stopped to see some dolphins and turtles! Sooooo good!
We had about 1.5 hrs for lunch, where you can bring your own lunch. We ended up walking down the road to a little beach restaurant called O’Moana Snack. The fish burger and poke bowl were amazing! After lunch we took the ATVs and went to some beautiful view points, including Magic Mountain. It was such an amazing day!

The perfect way to spend a day in Moorea. We were picked up at our hotel at the agreed-upon time and taken to the activity center. After a safety briefing we boarded our wave runners and rode around the island for a full three hours which included time to snorkel and interact with a pod of dolphins. After an hour rest, we boarded our ATVs and visited several spots around the island. Our guides were fantastic and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this combination tour if you have a full day to spend in Moorea, are adventurous and want to have a great time.

This is the perfect excursion as I feel you do it all in one. We passed many boats and trucks that were very full of people doing the same things we did. I highly recommend it as the best way to do it all in one excursion in the most fun adventurous ways!

We did the combined tour-jet skied in the morning and rode the ATV in the afternoon. Both were amazing. Jet ski tour was great to see the island from a different vantage point and the stop at the sting rays and sharks was amazing. Afternoon ATV ride was great with terrific scenery. Make sure to stop for lunch at the O'Moana Snack right next door. Have the Fish Burger - You won't be disappointed!

This was an amazing tour! The guides were great. The jet skis were a lot of fun. Swimming with the sharks and sting rays was awesome! The ATVs going to the look outs to see the amazing views and the shops and jam tasting to learn some history of the island was also a great time. If you are looking to see most of the island and have fun doing it this is definitely the tour you want to take!

Great combo tour! Family loved every minute of this exciting tour. Diving with sharks and rays, thrilling jet ski ride, and amazing views for ATV tour. Wanted to give a special shoot out to our drive that puck us up and dropped us off at the Ferry Station. She worked her magic and got us to the ferry in the nick of time to make the 5:10 ferry so we wouldn’t have to wait an hour for the next ferry!! So very grateful to her!! We were wiped after a full day of excitement and it was very much appreciated!

Phenomenal outfit. Equipment in good shape. Facilities for changing and shower well maintained. Very strong value proposition as they delivered a lot of adventure and the full time promised. Don’t forget your lunch if doing both tours, there are no options at the center outside chips and ice cream.
ATV was amazing as well! There is some hiking to see the sights.

We requested to split the tours into two half days & they kindly honored our request! The jet ski portion led us to crystal clear waters & amazing views! Not to be outdone by the jet ski portion of the tour, the ATV ride allowed us to explore some of the back roads which took us to some of the highest view points…gorgeous photo opportunities!

The awesome experience started with quick communication prior to getting picked up. They were always there to answer my questions. The day of they picked us up and dropped us off at our airbnb no problem.
Then the jetski. It was our favorite experience of our trip. Do the 3 hour one!! We explored all around the island. The beautiful blue water it was a memory I will never forget. 1st stop was snorkeling, next we stoped to look at dolphins and turtles, and our last stop was rats and sharks. And on top of it all our guide was taking pictures of us the entire time and the give them to you for free!!
When we retired we had an hour to rest and eat lunch. We didn’t have a car so the drove us 2 minutes down the road to a lovely restaurant. After lunch they picked us up.
The afternoon was the quad. It was a lot of turns and our guide was quick. But the lookouts were amazing. I am aft of heights and the drop offs getting to magic mountain was a little scary. But the payoff was amazing. Our guide even took us to touch the fresh water eels.
My daughter and I say this was our favorite excursion on the island. It was a long day but perfect in every way. Don’t hesitate book it!!
