Florentina our guide was very knowlegable and informative about Montevideo. We had a great tour and saw the highlights of the City in about 4 and a half hours. She spoke English excellently and gave us an insight into Uruguay. The pick up from the pier was flawless. We would highly recommend this tour

Upon disembarking at Montevideo Port, your guide will be waiting for you right at the dock, (9.10 am) holding a sign that reads: Blanco Tour Uruguay . No need to look far—just walk over, say your name, and get ready to enjoy the experience. Please note: This is just 4 hours city tour of Montevideo. Meals are not included. If your cruise ship is delayed or the itinerary changes, we will be informed and adjust accordingly. The tour will begin approximately 30 to 45 minutes after the ship docks, giving you time to disembark comfortably.

Great tour guide and...

Great tour guide and super organized at cruise port. Would have given it 5 stars but the AC broke on the mini bus on what turned out to be a very hot day. It was hard to enjoy when we were all so warm and uncomfortable. But our guide was very informative and engaging. Covered everything we wanted to see.

Well worth the money

This was an interesting and wide ranging tour of Montevideo. Out tour guide, Carolina, was very knowledgeable and extremely considerate to those in our group whi had mobility issues. Her English was also excellent. I can highly recommend this tour a and this company.

Mixture of many things to form a tour

There was alot of drive by different sites in the van. Jamie was very knowledgeable, but there was not alot of stops at historic sites. Felt like a mixture of items thrown together to form a tour.

Our tour is intentionally designed to showcase both the historic and modern sides of Montevideo. It includes emblematic landmarks such as the iconic Estadio Centenario the first World Cup stadium along with key historical areas and cultural highlights. The experience you booked clearly states that it is a panoramic city tour by vehicle, not a walking tour. The vehicle is essential to cover the main attractions of Montevideo efficiently, especially for cruise passengers with limited time in port. That said, the tour also includes walking portions in the historic district (Ciudad Vieja) to provide a closer look and deeper context. Our goal is not only to visit places, but to share knowledge about our history, culture, and identity as a country. We are proud that our guide provided detailed and passionate commentary throughout the experience. Of course, every guest has their own criteria and personal perspective when experiencing a tour. Fantastic day exploring Montevideo with Andres and Belen. We loved the smaller van (vs bus) and had so much fun. This was well worth the cost and super easy to find the team once off the ship. They also provided ice cold water whenever we needed it.

This tour was perfect to see and experience Montivideo on our day stop off the cruise. Picked up and dropped off at the port. Very punctual Driver (Washington) and guide ( Paulo) were excellent, friendly and informative! Lots of stops and photo opportunities along the way on the tour.
