It was a good way to see a little bit more of Uruguay when only having 2 days here. Loved the stop at Casa Pueblo. My favorite of the trip. It’s a long ride so take a book; music or something to keep busy. Pretty scenery; farmland, beaches, hills etc… Our guide was helpful, informative and friendly.

If you have the ability to spend a day in Punte del Este, this is the perfect day trip! The drive along the coast is breathtaking and the guide will teach you a lot about the unique culture and personality of Uruguay. We enjoyed the free time in Punte—a long seafood lunch with views of the port/river. The drive is long though, so be prepared to give up about 10 hours of your day for this excursion.

Nice tour to Punta del Este with a couple of stops on the way. Nice to do a quick tour with the bus and then have free time to explore what interest you more.

It’s like a taster tour you stop at various points 20 min to 2.5 hrs. Just long enough to see what you should revisit on your own. If you wanna see as much as you can on a day trip. This is good.
Coach was very modern, bathroom. Seat reclined and aircon.
Good for a first visit.

Two good sites to check out while in the area. Went for the hand sculpture but the artist’s house was quite interesting too. Tour guide very nice and helpful.

This activity was listed as a cruise excursion and start time at 0830
I was contacted after 10pm the night before to be informed that I needed to be at a location 1.5km away from port by 8am. I responded that we weren't scheduled to disembark until 8am. They said that they would cancel with refund, but I felt this was very misleading on their posted information. Would not recommend.

The tour had two stops before the trip to Punta Del Este. Not sure if the stops were worth it. Once we arrived in Punta Del Este there was a lot of driving around before we actually had the opportunity to walk. There was a portion where the tour guide was just talking about the households of former politicians or historical figures. However, Punta Del Este was small enough to traverse once we actually got the opportunity to disembark.

Great way to see the coast and some of the unique little places along the way to Punta Del Este.....

I thought the tour was well put together the lady spoke 3 different languages gave us enough time at each stop and kept a good flow to every stop

Marcela is a knowledgeable and personable guide! She made our day special. This is a jam packed tour!

Our guide was Paul. I thought Paul was very good, very knowledgeable.
We were allocated the right amount of time at each stop. I thought 3hrs would be excessive in Punta del Este, but after you have lunch and walk to the hand sculpture, walk to the lighthouse, walk to the Port and have a drink/snack break in between, I arrived back to meeting point with only 5 mins to spare.
What I think could be better - 1. I think the Puente de la barra (bridge) is interesting enough to allow for its own stop and to take pictures, even if just 5-10 mins.
I found it difficult at times to understand what I
was being told switching from English to Spanish. Maybe best to do your in English one day, Spanish the next. I found myself tuning out.
It was also raining in Punta when we visited. Suggest an hour for lunch, then could take people to the main attractions and allow 30 mins for each one. Older people or people with mobility issues would find it difficult to get to all the interesting sites.

They didn't abide by all the listed stops. As they dropped us off at a midpoint which was a 15 minute walk away from either point, instead of taking us to both as listed.

It was an exceptional trip along the coast, from Montevideo to Punta del Este, passing through Piriápolis and Casapueblo in Punta Ballena. Our guide, Pablo, organized the tour in a very original way. Each traveler who joined the group was welcomed with a typical song from their home country, which quickly created a great atmosphere. Pablo then shared a wealth of information about Uruguay, covering various topics such as the economy, politics, and of course, football! This information was presented in an interesting format, as a quiz, and I can say that I retained a lot of knowledge this way. We discovered fabulous places throughout the day, and I now understand why Punta del Este is considered one of the best seaside resorts in the world. At the end of the tour, Pablo provided recommendations for Montevideo, including the best spots to try the ultimate Uruguayan dish, the chivito! I highly recommend this tour and the guide Pablo.

It’s a beautiful tour. Couldn’t give it 5 stars because we were put on a non-English speaking bus and didn’t understand anything the whole day.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. It gave us the opportunity to see Punta Del Este and take amazing photos

The full day tour was exactly that, a full day. Picked up at 8am and got back at about 7:30pm. Most of the day was sitting on the bus, but it was comfy enough. The 2 stops on the way were in Piriapolis and the home and museum of artist Carlos Paez Vilaro. The first stop was a bit pointless, but the art museum was awesome. Punta del Este itself isn’t anything stunning. It was nice enough for a day trip. The guide spoke all the way there, which was a bit tiring to listen to as she spoke in 3 languages and very quickly.
Overall a decent day out.

The bus was great the driver the guide lady, it was a very nice trip.
The information provided was on full details.

Two nice short stops on the way to the destination and plenty of free time there to explore and enjoy

We visited a few highlights on this trip but there were too little time to properly enjoy each of the sights. Also the group were a bit to big, it took an hour just to pick up people im the morning (and one hour dropping off people on the return) so it was a lot of time in a bus to spend little time in punta del este. I would rather do colonia de Sacramento over this trip. However, the guide Ricardo was very nice and told us about the history etc. In both English and Spanish.

This tour was well organized. Pick up and drop off was smooth and quick, the driver was great and the tour guide was kind and humorous. The van was comfortable and spacious. Punta del este would be a perfect place to visit in the summer and although it’s winter it was still worth seeing. Although it is very expensive, there are a variety of places to eat and shop, the tour allowed for 3 hours of free time. Have breakfast before the tour or bring snacks because free time doesn’t start until noon-1pm. The tour guide made a quick stop for us to have a close up of the seals who were close to shore because the fishermen were feeding them. That was a great little bonus!

A great day out. Your was prompt in picking us up in the morning. We enjoyed the stops and had about 3 hours of free time in Punta Del Este. Marcella was our guide, she was very sweet and translated between English and Spanish. She did speak a bit fast at times but overall really cared about the well being of everyone on the bus. Driver was. Safe and bus in good condition. It was a great day trip and I’m so glad we did it.

Awesome Day trip with an excellent tour guide, Andres! Muchas gracias! Explored everything in and around Punta del Este!
Sean_W, Mar 2024
Loved the iteniary. The guide Marcela was super nice and cared that you had a good time but she needs to say less and speak way slower. I think the experience would have been almost better without a guide. Just have the driver bring us to the places and tell us when to be back.
Anne_N, Feb 2024
Comprehensive tour of Punte del Este and Casa Pueblo. Plenty of free time for lunch and beach. Our guide Joseline was excellent, giving information in three different languages to accommodate a very international group on the bus. A little hiccup on the way home when the bus broke down but the situation was resolved very quickly when another bus arrived to take us home. Excellent customer service all round!
Rex_W, Jan 2024
Too much time going to some lookout. Not enough time at the museum. Did provide a translator for five of us. Everyone else was Spanish speaking.
MARGIE_N, Dec 2023
Horrible experience, basically a waste of a whole day. Long drive for absolutely nothing! Don’t Waste your day. The bus smelled sooooo bad due to the bathroom in the back probably overflowed…..

Great experience. It was to book. Very good communication by tour operator, Inver.
Comfortable bus.
Overall, the tour to Punta Del Este was a delightful journey that left a lasting impression, making it a must-visit for travelers with an appreciation for coastal elegance and cultural richness.

It was a good trip to see Punta del
Este along the ocean and the river. It was a nice place with lots of shops and restaurant but not much else. It was a very windy day to do something else like walking or strolling. It costs only $45. So I’d say it was worth the tour. The guide was kind and helpful. He drove through some neighborhoods and a few interesting places before getting to the destination, which I appreciated very much.
Arthur_L, Dec 2023
Pauly with Dream tours was a terrific tour guide. He was engaging, entertaining and informative. Pickup and drop off went without a hitch and the van was clean and well maintained. For what was apparently his time on this tour, the driver did a very good job.
Natsuko_K, Dec 2023
It was very nice, but my tour operator was speaking super fast. And I didn’t understand what she was saying at all. But still she was very nice!
