This is a great tour to learn about Montevideo and see the city. Being on a bike is worlds better than lurching around on a tour bus and much quicker than walking. The picnic spot was beautiful and the lunch was better than expected. Tour operator and owner is very friendly.

It was only about eight blocks from the cruise port. Although the cafe is a reference point, the actual parking garage with the bikes is about half block downhill towards the port from the cafe. I’m so glad this tour now has the option of electric bikes and I would advise you to take that option.The e-bikes are new and much needed.

We had a wonderful day with Valentina and Cecil. We had a great ride and only 2 incidents. One a flat tire and a new bike was delivered quickly and a chain came off and immediately put back on. I think it was a fluke because the bikes are newer. We stopped for our picnic and there was so much food. The empanadas were delicious, along with the homemade apple bread and other desserts. I would recommend the e-bike as when we were riding along the river it was windy and the e-bike personally helped me a lot. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a lot of fun.

This tour was a great way to explore Montevideo. Valentina was friendly and informative. Cesar did a great job fixing a flat tire quickly when one of bikes got a flat, and sharing a mate with us.

Good Biking Experience

Great way to see the old town and learn the history of the country. Ride through the modern areas on the way to a beautiful ride on La Rambla along the beach. Since all the signage at the monuments and at the mausoleum of Jose Artigas is in Spanish, It would have been more informative if our guide had interpreted that informative for our group that did not speak Spanish. Also, as an experienced cyclist, better safety instructions for biking in a group through city streets should have been given for those who are not as familiar. Thank you for introducing us to the Mate drink custom!

We did this tour while on a cruise. It was a great way to tour the city highlights with a guide, including along the Rambla. We opted for e-bikes and were glad we did as it was quite windy along the water. The snacks provided were very tasty as well.

Outstanding professionalism and Compassion

We arrived early and were warmly greeted by Lara and Valentina. The bicycles were in excellent shape, but due to a health condition it became apparent my husband wouldn't be able to ride, and thusly I couldn't either. The staff was so very compassionate and did not make us feel bad about a last minute cancel. They even refunded our ticket which is above and beyond. We heard from others that the ride was amazing. Next time! The communication before our outing was excellent as well, keeping us updated and excited!. Highly recommend!

What a delightful time we had biking through Montevideo with Lara and her excellent team! Covering the history of the nation from Pre-columbian times to the present day, we learned about how Uruguay rose to be the progressive and economically stable nation it finds itself today. The monuments and architecture of the old town gave a perfect background for the history lessons. The ride down the Rambla at beachside, offered views of the River and lovely beaches adorned with colorful murals and beachside parks. We then stopped for lunch at a central park filled with fountains, benches and tables created from tile mosaic. In this relaxing location, we shared stories and learned about each other's cultures. The whole experience culminated in a shared drink of Mate, a local favorite.
