This was a wonderful experience and the highlight of our week in Val D’Orcia. We did the long ride option from Montepulciano to montichiello and Pienza. The lunch stop was in an amazing place with beautiful views. Food was delicious and service excellent.
You can shorten the ride and skip Pienza if you want. E bikes worked great and much needed up the many hills. This is off road a majority of the time. Urban Bikery staff was excellent.

All around great experience! The man who helped us was so informative and the route that we took was so beautiful. The bikes were a ton of fun, a bit uncomfortable, typical bike seats, and the duration is long so good idea to opt for the cushion that’s offered at the start.
The last 20 mins one of our bikes had an engine malfunction making it extremely difficult to go up hills (which there are A LOT and they are very steep). We should have called the owner, because he was super responsive the entire time but we decided to walk the bikes back. Don’t follow our lead, call the owner and he will help get you back!
Our lunch spot was so beautiful and the wine, beer, and food were perfect. We would definitely do this again!

I have only great things to say
The one part people may want to know is this did not seem to be an experience for beginners on bikes. Several portions of the path/journey were fairly steep uphills or steep downhills.
If you’re adventurous and very comfortable on a bike it’s a must!!!
