This trip from start to finish was amazing! Dwayne was so knowledgeable and gave us so much information regarding Jamaica! He drove us to and from our River rafting experience! Junior led us down the river on our bamboo raft! He was the BEST! He is quite the entertainer! We learned so much from him! He was very informative! We will come back to this rafting company!! JUST BECAUSE TOURS! Go with this company!

The crew on this experience were fantastic! My only downside is the fact that we only went a quarter mile down the river. I would’ve loved to have gone further, and were told by locals that there are ones that take you on longer rides

I’m sorry to hear that the length of the river ride didn’t meet your expectations. Recently, we've been experiencing heavy rainfall, which caused the river's water level to rise significantly. For safety reasons, our raft captain had to shorten the trip, as navigating further down the river could have made it challenging to return upstream against the stronger current. Under normal conditions, our guests enjoy a longer ride both down and back up the river, but your safety is always our priority. We apologize that this impacted your experience. If you are ever in Jamaica again we hope to have the opportunity to take you on a longer and more enjoyable ride at no cost to you, when the river conditions are better. Thank you again for your feedback, and we appreciate you choosing us for your adventure.

Unfortunately not worth the money

The ride was extremely short we barely went down the river but our car and raft drivers were both very nice.

Your safety is our top priority, and due to recent heavy rainfall at the time of your activity, the river's water level was higher than usual. This made it challenging for our raft captain to safely navigate the full route and bring the raft back upstream against the stronger current. Under normal conditions, our guests enjoy a ride both down the river and back up. However, for your safety, we opted for a shorter, one-way ride this time. I understand how this may have affected your experience, and I am truly sorry that it wasn’t what you had hoped for. Definitely a must do when visiting Jamaica. From the beginning of the tour with our driver Dewayne to the end everything was great. The most relaxing experience, although all the ones working the rafts was a vibe! Have to give a BIG shoutout to our guy JAY! Highly recommend.

Fun, Refreshing & Relaxing! Highly Recommended!

Highly recommended! It's so relaxing but fun! If you get a chance to get in the water, do so and make sure to book the limestone massage! Our guide Dwayne was amazing from start to finish; his customer service was incredible! The driver did a great job getting us up to the countryside safely and the raft guys were professionals and treated us like queens. They even gave us the history of the area which we enjoyed. Booking with Viator was easy and secure.

Great Tour

1st I want to say Dwayne was best driver. Communicated with us with pickup times from hotel and was with us the whole trip. Bamboo rafting was great had Jay and he definitely entertain us and made sure we were beyond comfortable and met any needs we had. When done with rafting Dwayne took to local shop for shopping and nice variety of things to choose from and not pushy people to buy. Overall great experience and when I come back I’ll boom again and ask for Dwayne.

Great excursion. The owner was very considerate. He eached out to change my tour to accommodate the weather. After rafting, he provided security when we stopped at the Hip Strip for souvenirs. Now the rafting experience was amazing. The tour guide Jay was really knowledgeable and fun!!! He made this experience one to remember. Amazing and Memorable Experience

Awesome experience! Our driver was very informative, we learned a lot of new things on the drive there and back and he was very accommodating when it came to our 2 year old. He made an extra stop for us to try Jamaican Beef Patties and it was soooo worth the mini detour. The experience was definitely 1 to remember. When we got to the excursion, J was funny, insightful and also very very accommodating to our fussy 2 year old who only wanted to be in the water. The limestone made my legs soooo soft. I had no choixe but to buy some lol! I would 100% recommend Just Because Tours to everyone.

Amazing Experience!

We had an amazing time. Our driver Gary went above and beyond, sharing lots of cultural information with us both on our way to and from the river. Our tour guide Mystro made sure we had a good time and definitely pampered us. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, and I would definitely come back on my next vacation!

Relaxing time

Our tour guide, Dwayne (The Mayor) of Just Because Tours took care of us from start to finish of this excursion. He had relationships with the raft employees and make sure our time was amazing. Very relaxing and the limestone massage was a MUST do. If you going to visit the island… the only way to go is just because tours.

River Rafting

The most memorable moment was the going down the river enjoying music and dancing. We learned a lot about the country from the tour guide Dwayne. I would give this tour a thousand stars if I could. Everyone was very friendly and they offered us sugarcane while rafting (something that I’ve always wanted to try). I would recommend booking with “just because tours” to get the best river rafting experience.
