The Catamaran leaves from Negril in the afternoon. The duration of the tour varies depending on where you are staying in Jamaica. You are transported to Negril, then you have time on the beach and THEN afterwards the catamaran.

The driver Jermaine was lovely, and super knowledgeable and told us loads of information on our journey to negril. He stopped of if we needed too! Car was spotless. When we got to margaritaville we had time to eat before getting on the catamaran. All the vibes you would want and the staff really friendly. We had a blast at ricks cafe, and even though our time there had to get cut short due to a storm, once back aboard we all still had a fab time! When we got back, the ocean was so warm and we was able to spend the time on 7 mile beach to enjoy the sunset. No rush from Jermaine even though all the others had gone back to their transport. We was with another couple in our transport who enjoyed the bath warm sea and sunset too. We all had such a fabulous day to remember. Bargain for the experience you receive. Thanks again!!

The entire trip was amazing. The stops to snorkel and Ricks Cafe were great. The captain and crew were a great time. Definitely worth the money. If you are not staying in Negril, you have to get there. Our driver, Michael, did a great job. He told us about each town we went through. Overall, even this part was a good time. We were staying in Montego Bay so about two a two hour drive.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a catamaran party. The team on the boat were the best we’ve experienced so far – very friendly and they created an amazing party atmosphere. However, we were very disappointed with the pick-up and drop-off service. The driver arrived very late (14:15), and we almost didn’t make it on time. On top of that, the driver did not show up to take us back to the hotel, even though the transfer was supposed to be included. Overall, the boat experience itself was fantastic, but the issues with the pick-up and drop-off made us very disappointed.

So the transportation was a plus for us not knowing that it was 2 hours from us once we got to the location we waited about 2 hours to get on the boat which didn’t bother us because we did the massages but what got me was us having to walk in the water to get to the boat I’m use to having a dock but just know u will walk lol thn once we departed we had a great time ricks cafe was a plus!!

It was amazing! Kevin the tour bus operator was exceptional. Answered our questions and informed us what to expect on the cruise. Black Thunder, the cruise guide was brilliant! His high spirit and motivating energy had us partying and laughing the entire time. The Catamaran staff were all professional, tourist friendly and went far and beyond to ensure that we were safe and having a good time. The entire experience from start titanic was worth every dollar.

Unsafe, misleading, and not worth the money

I booked this boat tour expecting a fun and relaxing trip to Rick’s Café with snorkeling, drinks, and music. Instead, it was a huge disappointment. It started raining before we even left Margaritaville, and despite everyone asking to turn around, the crew ignored our safety concerns. The boat was overcrowded with no shelter from the rain all of my belongings got soaked, and my phone was water-damaged. We didn’t get the full experience promised: there was no snorkeling, no snacks, and only rum at the bar instead of a full selection. Half the time there was no music, and when we finally got close to Rick’s Café, we were told we couldn’t even get off we’d have to take a bus instead, which wasn’t part of the tour description. This experience was completely misrepresented and unsafe, and it wasn’t worth anywhere near $150. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

It thunderstorm the whole time lightning and thunder didn't go to Rick's Cafe and the host was rude. This excursion should've been canceled I was scared for my life also it was cut short due to the weather 😒. I have been on this excursion before thru locals never had an experience like this and will not be back

I loved the party boat experience. I snorkled and cliff jumped at the famous Rick's Cafe. The engery on the boat was awesome and once in the water the crew was very watchful of us. I enjoyed the time at Magaritaville before the cruise. Be prepared if you are picked up in Montego bay it is a 2 hour drive to Negril. Our driver was knowledgeable and have us endless information about the island and the cities we drove through. I loved this experience!

We did not get picked up to 2 hours after we arrived back to Margaritaville. They voiced that the bus broke down. We could not eat once we got bavlct to resort because we missed the time.

The only reason this experience gets a 2 is because of the distance. Although the driver and the tour guide Jorge were awesome we never expected to spend 7 hours of our day on a bus. We were on the bus for 4 hours that morning and 3 more that evening. This tour is fine for those staying in Montego Bay but DEFINITELY not if you're staying At Oceans Cypress or Oceans Eden Bay. It ruined part of our vacation because it left us way to exhausted to do anything the next day. Its not a good thing for those with back pain to ride that long as the roads in Jamaica are not the best. I feel we should have been told about the distance ahead of time and given a choice. It was so bad we tried taking an Uber back but it would have been almost $200.

We had a great time. Dex ran the party and he did a wonderful job showing us a great time along with his team! The music made you want to dance. We saw beautiful fish 🐠 snorkeling. Unfortunately, rain didn’t allow us to dock at Rick’s and get off but it was nice they still offer to take you by bus. Rain aside we had a great time.

It was a long ride from Mobay but it was well worth it! The transport was nice with AC and friendly tour guides. Our first stop Negril was at a convenient store where we had rum tastings! Then lunch at margaritaville where we boarded the catamaran and served unlimited drinks to Rick’s Cafe! It was up from there! A time was had! Would definitely recommend this excursion!

Fun time! The excursion is FAR! So be prepared. It’s almost 2 hours from Montego Bay (which is where we stayed). Once we got to Margaritaville, we were able to have some lunch. Idk if it was just that day, but the food took forever, so we were not able to enjoy the beach before we had to board the boat. Speaking of boarding the boat, you have to truck through the ocean, with your belongings, to board. It’s a lot. There are some guys that will help hold your things so you can get on the boat easier, however, they expect to be tipped sooooo yeah. Anyhoo, the boat was CROWDED. It was a tad bit uncomfortable at first because we weren’t used to accommodations like that, but the crew brought the ENERGY!! Very fun guys, very interactive. You had no choice but to have fun. Overall a great time!

I never leave negative reviews but this was THE WORST experience. First, the tour operator never told us the day before what time to be ready, so we were up super early trying to figure out what time to be in the lobby. We were finally told at 10am the morning of to be ready at 10:05am . Then they called at 10:15am and told us due to traffic, they would be 10-15 minutes late. They were an hour and a half late to pick us up. So, after losing all that beach time, they then drove us PAST Margaritaville for a 27 minute "bathroom break" (even though Margaritaville has bathrooms) at some small shop in an alley which I was told "was part of the tour" even though it wasn't advertised. By the time they took as back to the beach, we only had time to eat and then we had to get on the boat. We did not get any beach time which was a bummer because that was one of the main reasons we booked it. This trip also advertised a sunset on the catamaran. For whatever reason, they brought us back early as well and we did not get to see it. We were in the van on the way home when the sun set. We paid a lot of money to show up late and leave early. I reached out to Viator several times and they said too bad - "the duration of the tour varies depending on where you are staying in Jamaica." This does not explain why they were an hour and a half late (which was missed beach time) and why the boat came back early (which was a missed sunset). Viator just kept blaming the operator who told Viator they operated that day as normal. So don't pay a lot of money with no guarantee you'll actually receive any of the advertised experiences. I will never book with Viator again.

Excursion was great! Bus ride was very adventurous, guide was very informative! You do have to walk in waist deep water getting to the catamaran, so dress accordingly. Water was very choppy, so we had to ride back to Margaritaville and drive to Rick's. But the atmosphere on the catamaran was a Vibe, be ready to party!!!

This was too much fun! The snorkeling was a good experience even though we didn't get to many fish or other sea animals. The boat was fun we danced and partied the entire time. I do wish we had more time at Rick's, didn't get to jump. Overall a great experience and I would definitely do it again

Wouldn’t recommend this tour. The driver Peter Gaye Richards told us the time & place to meet & never met us there. After contacting them to let them know we were at the pickup spot they never reached back out to me. Very unprofessional & inconsiderate of my friends & I time.

Me and my boyfriend had an absolute wonderful time! It started with our ride with Kenny who had to drive all the way out to Falmouth to pick us up and get us to the destination, if you are staying out this far, just know it adds about 2 1/2 extra each way to your trip. Kenny was a blast and the life of the party, he kept us laughing the whoa time that the 2 1/2 hours went by quick! We did have to stain at 3 other spots to pick people up but it was close to margaritaville. Once we got there, we got to relax and take photos at the 7 mile beach and swim a little. During this time you can grab some food an drinks. I caution everyone to be mindful this beach is full of Jamaicans that are trying to hustle and are very aggressive. Once the boat came for us we loaded up, also please keep in mind you have to walk through water to board and the water get about waist deep but that did not bother us at all. On the boat the bartender kept the drinks flowing and Thunder was our host and he was such a hoot! I think he had better dance moves than anyone! He kept everyone laughing and got everyone to engage with the music. The whole crew in the boat joked and laughed with us, they even got my boyfriend to snorkel after he told me he absolutely wasn’t! So kind and welcoming! The boat takes you out to Rick’s cafe where you can cliff jump and eat and listen to the DJ. There is a gift shop and pool there as well. We spent about an hour there and we were picked up to return back and watch the sunset! I would 100% do this again! It was such a vibe!
