This tour was amazing! From the driver and pick up times, throughout the actual excursion. We felt safe, we were entertained and we enjoyed amazing lime stone massages and history on Sugar Canes, Lime Stones, & Banana Plantation from our Captain Pearson. Love the fact that they had items to buy along the way such as Jamaican food, drinks accessories etc. Highly recommended !

It was fun. You can do a leg only massage or a full body massage. They offer other things like drinks and hookah for the raft ride.

Book with them you won’t be disappointed we got great pics, music, fruit, & also got to rent a hookah. I’ll rate this experience a 10/10 & will come back when ever I return to Jamaica.

This is a quick hour or maybe a little more if you pay more. The bargeman will put you in the seat and take your picture. You'll be offered ganja and drinks to pay for if you want them. Then you'll go under a bridge about 50 feet away and stop for more photos. (You'll pass a swing that you could use to jump in the river, but you won't be allowed on it.) Then you'll go 100 yards down river. You'll be given a coconut to drink. Then bargeman will do a quick 2-3 minute massage with limestone clay. Then it's back up the river to be hurried out. My niece and I got some lunch at the stand ($20 for one plate of jerk chicken and rice) but weren't allowed to eat it there. We had to try to eat it in the van on the windy roads back to our hotel. The whole thing felt rushed and impersonal.

This was an amazing experience. From pick up to drop off. The river rafting was great my captain was called Strong and he definitely lived up to his name. 5 Stars.

Be sure being charged correct amount and able to contact someone if not.
Driver said was charged $200.00 more bc we had to be picked up but that was included in $40 per person

Juicy was our raft operator & he was very accommodating and sweet with me and my friend! He made sure we got great angles of photos and views of the river. Very professional and respectful. I wish I had more money to tip him.

Our resort was quite far from Montego Bay, but our driver Kenroy was very professional and made sure he communicated with us on his arrival time. In our almost 2hr drive to Lethe he allowed us to stop for bathroom breaks and accommodated our needs. At Great River our raft captain, Pearson, was wonderful! He was very fun and entertaining, he kept the tunes going, he made sure we had food and drinks for our ride down the river, he was very knowledgeable about limestone and it’s benefits, and he had a lot of fun facts about the river as well. While you’re in Jamaica I would definitely recommend you book this excursion with Wilson Tours!

Loved this experience! It was rough getting started...we drove ourselves and when we turned into the place there was no signs - just a bunch of guys asking who your tour guide was. Once you have the email you have to know who to ask for. Once we found out guy it took a long time to get onto the raft and get our drinks. We only got one coconut - no other tasting as described, no free rum. Then we were off and wow! what a great river it is. Our guide took us down then brought us back up the river, against the current! He gave us a great foot massage and was very happy to take pictures and videos of us. I do recommend this tour!

The tour guide was really fun. He catered to us. We rather listen the Jamaican music though and he played some great tunes. There are hella mosquitos though. Bring spray that’s the only negative.

The raft adventure was really nice- my tour guide Pierce was amazing I opted for the limestone bs k massage and arms and it was amazing ! Try it over the legs and you will be surprised - the atmosphere was safe and aesthetically beautiful thank you for a nice experience

I booked a 10:00 am excursion for one person for rafting on the Lethe River with massage from Wilson Tours, but it seems the company is actually called You Tours. I was told I would be picked up at 10:30am and the driver was prompt. It seems I was the 4th of 5 stops- there were 6 other people joining me. We drove to the river where there were tons of rafts all jammed together. We were handed off to individual raft captains. I will say this wasn’t my favorite experience. I was looking for a relaxing experience and a relaxing massage. That’s not the vibe here at all. My raft captain put on music with vulgar lyrics and started dancing suggestively with his oar. He had me take photos in sexy poses which I wasn’t really into. I was offered a complimentary coconut to drink, but also for sale was bottles of rum punch, plates of food, and hookah. Everyone had music blasting and it’s a real party atmosphere, if that’s what you’re looking for. The river is so crowded with rafts, I kept waiting to get out on the open water, but it never happened. We just floated a little ways away, then pulled up on a bank where the massage took place. My raft captain started to give me some sort of sexy massage, but when I really told him that’s not the vibe I was looking for at all, he tamed the massage down and then after, we just sat and chatted. Others were getting full body massages, and it all looked very suggestive. On the way back, my captain finally got my drift and changed the music to some classic soul and it was much more relaxing. I would say this is definitely not a family-friendly activity, but is perfect for bachelorette-type fun. I feel like what I was looking for would have been found more at the Martha Brae River rafting, which seems calmer. Afterward, we waited for all the members of my vehicle to finish their rides. There are bathrooms/changing areas and gift shops with everyone trying to get you to buy touristy stuff. We drove back and I was dropped at my hotel in Montego Bay around 3:30pm, so the entire experience was 5 hours long. Our driver didn’t really say much, so I can’t say that this was tour company is better than any other. But it was on time, and as advertised.

Yes it's always a vibes on the river but you can tell your captain what you are looking for and he will make sure you enjoy yourself

I absolutely LOVED my bamboo experience. Tony was the absolute BEST driver, great communication and hospitality. It was my birthday so he had Pearson who is the BEST rafting guide ever. This was definitely a new experience for us. The atmosphere around the river was so dynamic. The rafter was pleasant but a little young, but he tried hard. Nice that the beverage and coconuts were included. We enjoyed being given the opportunity to paddle the raft. Great for photos and video recording. I only wish we could have traveled further down the river.
