The whole process was terrible. You have to download an app to get a code and are told to start at an ice cream shop which was closed and far from any of the sites. Very unpleasant experience.

This means you do not have to travel to the suggested start if it is inconvenient. You can simply begin the tour at whichever audio point is closest to you when you open the map, and follow the loop from there.
